There is a serious caveat to this mod that the author never addressed: He took the laziest approach to accomplishing this goal, by simply changing the level rating of everything to ONE.
This has the unintended effect of removing any visual reference to actual level of quality from the crafting menu, since now it all displays as Level 1 and the displayed Level was the only visual frame of reference for relative quality! It doesn't implement any means to sort by and/or display armor rating, etc. as an alternative.
The result is that now you are forced to click on every single item in the crafting menu and read its summary in order to assess relative quality! Good luck trying to remember which ones are which when you have several dozen entries to consider.
This could and should have been fixed by replacing the displayed levels for weapons and gear with either (1) a "delta" value representing the positive or negative change from the currently equipped gear or (2) the armor rating or minimum damage value. As I am days new to the game, I don't yet possess the skill to make even this fairly simple change to make the mod truly useful.
It seems to work for me after using Script Merger with my other mods, BUT there is a serious caveat to this mod that the author never addressed:

I have no clue what any of this means
Could you do mod with ALL items with no required? (not just crafting)
