Haven't seen any bugs but also just started using it, so I will report if i find any.
REMEMBER: if the characters aren't showing with the swords you probably just have to let the game respawn them, I think that means that if you've already started a quest without this mod, the changes won't occur until the character respawns, tested this with letho just now, loaded a save after starting the quest, the vanilla swords spawned, restarted the quest and they appeared just fine. Tested the same at the kaer morhen tutorial, eskel and lambert spawned with the swords on a fresh spawn.

For some reason, this mods makes all the DLC i have show up like its not installed when I'm entering a save . I booted up my game, and when I clicked on the save I wanted to load it showed that I needed all the DLC that I had already installed. Any fix?
You need to install the modAltgear first, then the DLCAlt gear from the optional files. Make sure you have script merger check for any incompatibilities.
A question was discovered: why did Reso's steel weapon suddenly disappear after completing the first stage of the mission of the past ghost, and there was no solution?
Any suggestions on how to install it? Because I’m kinda a newbie to modding so I use Vortex for a lot of mods. And I wanna know before I start using it if it’s not a good idea.
Alright first, you don't use Vortex for this. You manually install this. You want to install the Optional DLC File first, dropping the DLCALTGEAR into the DLC folder, and then the modAltGear from the main file into the mod folder, but DO NOT use any of the contents from the DLC folder of the main file, that what the Optional DLC file is for. And make sure you use script merger after installing the mod to see if it's incompatible with anything, which it shouldn't be last I checked. However keep in mind of the issues listed on the description page.

Very happy, and an awesome mod!
