    This mod is finished, and I don't have the time to fix any bugs that come up in the future as I don't play this game anymore.

    Thank you for the support and endorsements.

    Nice mod, but sometimes my oils will show 1000/1000 after they are applied (In game hud during combat and when hovering mouse over weapon in inventory) BUT once I engage in combat the oil count will return to default value (20 etc.) charges. Pretty much makes this mod invalid. 2/3 of the time during fights this happens... sigh. Why? No other mods except "auto apply oils" and scriptmerger detected no conflicts xml or bundle etc.

      Yes... How can we fix this now that the mod owner is gone?

      I'm still here, just don't have the time at the moment to do something about it due to IRL stuff. Sorry.
      Have you tried it without "auto apply oils" (preferably on a fresh game save)?

      I could try to troubleshoot it after my exam. That would be next week or so.

      I've tested this and I can't replicate it without "auto apply oils" installed. So this is a conflict (note: not all conflicts appear on SM). Try using it without "auto apply oils" and get back to me.

      I've this problem and it's because this function Reapply( newMax : int) in oil.ws file

      simple open the file oil.ws and looking for function that I mention above you will see these two lines
      maxCount = newMax;
      currCount = newMax;

      just set them both to what ever value you desired

      @MaliciousSwede It's not a conflict. I'm seeing it without "auto apply oils" installed. Faxfrag is right, the *reapply* code is not correct, so the first application gets increased, but if you reapply the same oil type, the maximum is back to normal. In other words...

      Reproduce:
      1. Apply any Oil to a weapon
      2. Apply that same oil to the same weapon
      You should see that the maximum is not increased the second time, only the first.

      I've also confirmed that Faxfrag's fix works. So if MaliciousSwede doesn't get back around to this, you can edit those two lines to say
      maxCount = 1000;
      currCount = 1000;
      and that will work well enough.

    I can confirm that it is working on 1.31 GOG GOTY along with Auto Apply Oils without any problems, I used the optional files. I used the main file before and it didn't work for me.
  5. Hello,

    OK...

    I am confused.

    You say the potions file will increase the number you carry. OK. Downloaded the file for more potions. Get in game it still shows 3/3

    I must be missing something. So, I downloaded the main file and the more potions. All it does is affect oils and does not even touch the number of potions.

      How did you install it?
      Does every potion remain vanilla (as not all potions have the same amount) or just some specific one?

    I kind of feel like more needs to be done to potions. I never depend on oils enough to need 50 or more of. Now potions, I wouldn't mind have 5-10 White Raffard Decoction. I guess it might make the game a little to easy but 2 White Raffard Decoction isn't even enough to get you through a decent battle. If I end up using anyWhite Raffard Decoction I always feel like I could use a few more. Yet most of the time I don't use any so if I am gonna have em I would like to have more.

      So you want more potions?
      Have you tried using the Superior potions?

      I found that the current amounts are a good balance. I play the game for 110% immersion, and this balances the potions in a way that makes you seek out and find the upgrades.

      Although if you want a cheat version, I can maybe get back into modding and upload one.

      Don't see any reason why not but I don't have any time right (Stuff with work, kids and etc.) now to test it. But if you can test it and then report back here, I can do some work to make it work again (if it doesn't work).

    Useful, but not overpowered (picked the main file). No more running out of oil charges after half a wolf pack.

    Thanks!
