1. Download and extract to a new folder on your desktop 2. Delete the entire "DLC" folder. Don't worry, the DLC files you need are in the folder you will be keeping in the next steps. 3. Open "Mods" folder, right-click the "modlvl100plus" folder and select Cut 4. Back out of the "Mods" folder. 5. Right-click and paste the previously cut "modlvl100plus" folder and delete the now empty "Mods" folder. 6. Now open the "modlvl100plus" folder and then open the "content" folder. 7. Delete the "bundles" folder 8. Now drop the "modlvl100plus" folder into your Witcher 3 mods folder and your done.
This will allow Mod Merger to load properly and for Steam users to use this mod.
Also, to get this to work with Increased Creature Loot, you would need to know how to use ModKitchen or another comparable program that can uncook and recook bundles. Basically, besides increasing creature loot, that mod also does what this mod does, except with creature loot only. I studied both xml files from each mod and can confirm this. I would uncook this mod and whatever version of the ICL mod you chose, find the files named "def_loot_monsters" and "def_loot_animals" and paste the files from ICL over this mod's files in the corresponding folders. The ones in the "patch1" folder of this mod are exactly the same as the ones in the "gameplay" folder, so I replaced those with the ones from ICL. After I recooked the new mod, I removed ICL altogether because I had just manually merged the two.
Good question.. I managed to make script merger merge my mods successfully and the game runs, but quest items still disappear.. The only thing I can do now is search for the console code to spawn the item but that's a chore to do every time I need to pick up a quest item
Feel you pain. If you plan to play on Next Gen, Fixed Level 100 Plus (which is Next Gen version of this mod) can be installed like normal mod but with special step of not merging it.
I'll let you guys know what worked for me, but check summary first
Summary: You'll have to remove the mods that Script Merger couldn't merge. For me it was more monster loot, I gave up on it.
Here goes. Some comments say to add a 0 to blob.bundle. When I did that, my merge worked, but quest items disappeared when I tried to loot them. I removed the 0 and had to remove the mod that couldn't be merged with it, as I mentioned above. Then it worked and I can loot quest items again. HOWEVER I am level 99 now and I will come back to confirm if I can still pick up quest items when I reach level 101.
Level 101 now, currently doing Hearts of Stone quests and I've been able to pick up quest items like keys and such. No complaints yet, so far so good. I understand having to remove some mods is no consolation to a mod fix, but it appears that the mod that cause trouble are loot-related. To me at least they aren't a priority, so it was worth dropping them
All of them. Look in the 'preview files' to see where they're all located and rename them all. You might need to merge conflicts manually depending on whether you have other mods that conflict (in my case WitcherLore), but it should work.
Actually, because of the way this whole mod is bundled, you don't even need the DLC folder because it's an exact copy of the mod folder. Just delete the "bundle" folder inside the "content" folder, and then rename the blob.bundle to blod0.bundle. That will take care of it all. I honestly don't know why the mod was bundled this way as it seems really buggy. Could be a much older version of the game that changed how the folders were packed.
hey i am on ng and this mod broke the netflix quest as the notes weren't there and im only level 19/20 ish deleted the mod and there back in place so will this mod get an update for next gen or has this been abandoned
Thank you for this info, I have been playing a ng+ currently lvl 112. And of course I've been pulling out my hair trying to figure out why Osmund's Notes were not there for the Netflix Quest... I'll try and see if there is a console cmd to change Geralts level back under 100, remove the mod, complete the quest, then re-apply the mod, and level 112. -- I've also had this major headache of the "possesion" quest bug on ng+, where if you complete it, it never progresses to the next quest King's Gambit, and then any save after, will crash if you try to travel to Skelige. - unfortunately I left the quest unfinshed, and eventually after isle of mists it failed, along with brothers in arms, Skelige. I was trying to 100% the game, and so far these were the only 2 quests, Netflix DLC, and Possession I've had issues with so far. Just started Toussaint on ng+ hoping it goes well.
EDIT: Well, unfortunately I failed. I moved all items/quest etc to stash, cleardevelop, and setlevel 25... and removed the mods that increase levels etc.. however the Osmund's Notes still never appeared. It may be because I already had the quest in my save active, and broken. If I had done this previously to acquiring the quest, it may have worked. I just have no idea how to remove the quest via console, and re-add it, or how to additem(osmond's notes) -- I'll just have to wait and see if they ever fix this quest in an upcoming patch or something... It was worth a shot though.
Hey, Im trying to do what you explained here, before ever starting any problematic quests (have had some break but always reverted to a save prior to starting the quest) - Im over level 100, quest items breaking all over the place, trying to remove the mod (did as instructed) but when I use the setlevel(#) command, I cant get my level below 100. Can only set it to something above 100.
The same thing happens to me with the normal search for the sorcerer sets, some diagrams appear, others disappear, I think the easiest solution is to collect all the diagrams of the sets, then put the mod on, I passed the entire Toussaint mission with it I put it on and I didn't have any problem, I just went through the diagrams of the witcher sets.

Most of the common issues are already handled there:
- "Bundled Text" error
- Merging problems
- Steam compatibility
Best regards

THAT DOESN'T WORK IN ANY WAY

You spelled the blob.bundle incorrectly >.<. That's why the mod is not working for people.
You need to rename it to blob0.bundle. You forgot the 0.
Sorry and thank you!
Just a self-advertise that I made the (long-waited) Next Gen version of this mod:

How did you manage to get back below 100?
