I'm not sure if it's a bug or a conflict with some other mod.
This video shows all silver swords and their scabbards.
The scabbard model used by version 06 ot the mod is scabbard_silver_3_01, it's used by several swords (Ami, Disglair) and on the video it's actually brown, so it should be the correct model. But, for some reason, in my game this scabbard is displayed as black (with some beige crosses) and the brown scabbard is only used by Cantata (scabbard_silver_vampire). And looks like I'm not the only one, some users reported it earlier. I'm still using Old Gen, I even put Steam offline in December, so it's not like the mod became obsolete after the update.
Edit: it's not only used by Cantata, the other (identical) brown scabbard is: scabbard_silver_1_01 and it's used by some craftable swords.
Guys, I'm not the person who created the fix (all credit goes to him) but I downloaded it back in 2019, I'm playing the game again after a long break and decided to check some old mods of mine (to see if they have updates, stuff like that). Just put it in your mods folder, you might need to use Script Merger for it to work properly (I don't remember), install after the original mod.
Thank you so much, Johannenbr for providing the fix! I used Mod Merger with the original Aerondight Redone file, and now it looks perfect! I don't have to worry about those annoying holes. XD Thanks again! :)
i tried your link it did not change anything aerondight is still vanilla, i tried it with the main file and it didn't fix the holes shame a prefer this mod over the replacer but the holes are annoying, guess i'm gonna have to suck it up and deal with it.
I am using 1) the main file from this mod, 2) scabbard #5 as suggested in previous comments, and 3) the mod linked by Johannenbr to fix the holes, and with all 3 installed on game version 4.01 (next-gen) - it looks great! I hated the vanilla scabbard so much, glad I found this combo.
the sword still clip not because its longer than the scabbard its the position of either the sword or scabbard, the sword blade when sheathed is a bit forward so the blade clips to the front part of the scabbard, not noticeable in back view but if you change the angle while in the stats view you can see it, the optional scabbards provided here are not thick enough to cover the blade compared to vanilla so better stay with vanilla scabbard if that annoys you, only tested 01 and 07 the rest i don't know, 01 is much thicker so that's the best choice for less clipping.
EDIT: 05 is the best same thickness of the vanilla aerondight scabbard but red and brown it looks good on the back
I downloaded the 01 mod in the picture, but Aerondight's scabbard did not turn that color from vanilla. I am using the old version. Are the mods up to date or can you update the 01 mod?

I would like to ask, could you make the hems for the vanilla version? is that I really like the big Aerondight but I also really like its sheaths.
