   it DOES work (steam version, enhanced edition) but i have a very strange problem - can't use my talent points, can't pick up any news skills. what can be the reason for that?

   It's working with my Steam version (Enhanced edition). Must activate quen (number 8). It stays active for 150 minutes.

   Does this mod protect you from fire pits and fire arrows? i am using the optional one from this mod now. https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/696?tab=files . i`m tired of avoiding fire pitts. also have to turn it off to get "pyromaniac" ability

   BEWARE: If you plan on using thss mod just to get past a difficult part, it removes the Ability Summer Solstice! I went back to the shrine, and am unable to recover the ability..

   Y dont u all just use the NMM, for easy install, its what its there for....

      NMM no longer works.We have to install mods manually now.

   Works with latest steam version. You have to activate quen. It stays for 250 minutes.
   
   Installation directory for geralt_basic.xml file:
   
   STEAM\steamapps\common\the witcher 2\CookedPC\abilities

   The installation instructions weren't clear, do I the whole file d copy it to "The witcher 2" I put the file in "CookedPC" ?

      I'd like to know if it works with the Enhanced Edition from Steam myself. I come from Oblivion/Skyrim/FO3/New Vegas land, I'm not used to this game or any game on here that doesn't have a million mods, lol.

    Is there a god mode cheat that simply makes me nearly impossible to kill? I enjoy the fighting in this game esp. the finishing moves but I can't stun enemies when I get an instant kill everytime with my sword and signs.
