can't seem to work on MAC. Recently Witcher 2 EE is now downloadable for MAC. there is no original base_scripts.dzip on the cooked pc folder. pasting the mod file won't do any effect. Please help
No, It hasn't. It's a false positive. Cheat Engine modifies the data of another program (the game you want to cheat) in system memory. That behaviour is typical for a Virus, so some AVs mistake it for a Virus. It's perfectly safe (provided you download it from a trusted source)
if anybody is still watching here has anyone ever figured out how to add ability points. i mean cmon...1 point per level....did better than that in the good old days when we still roled real dice for everything.
Apparently the "author" of "guide" is too lazy to create a cheatengine table with variables that needs to be changed. Better luck using cheattrainers i guess.
Can confirm oerens work without issues, however xp is different. i find the value that correlates with my Xp amount, i changed it to 35000 and it worked, showed up in Character menu. HOWEVER instead of giving me 1 level every time i got xp like it said i would, it gave me 3 levels every time and then capped at Level 16 with 35000 xp. so just be careful as Cheat Engine is clearly just a sketchy program to use.
I was following the steps of the PDF enclosed in this download which entails downloading CheatEngine. After I downloaded it, I scanned the file. My antivirus came back with a medium security risk found of MalSign.Generic.AB7. It's a trojan horse. If you have downloaded Cheat Engine, please scan your computer! Mod fun and mod safe, folks!
