   There's texture misalignment on the pauldrons.
   
   This is an unfinished armor skin, which is probably why it's 'hidden' / deliberately unused in the game files.

   Is there anyway to make it auto-equip or we have to equip ourself after every cutscene?

      Disable the Blue Stripes Jacket from the DLC menu in options.

      No, there are two differences. The collar and the additional protection on his shoulder.
