Hello, tried steps from forum section on the GOG version, win 10. The game starts, cursor appears, but game freezes on black screen and nothing happens. Maybe someone knows the solution? If important, I have AMD videocard (RX 5700XT)
Hi, any ideas how to fix that weird effect? It only shows when I'm looking at the water, also there are shadows of these things when I'm close to the fire, please help :D
Same Here : / I believe it could be related to ENBSeries v0.189 (just a guess)because i am tried Envision ENB as well as a test and i have the same problem unless is a GPU driver issue lol, Amd RX590 driver 20.11.3
Fixed! I looked into some files of the mods, literally checked 1 by 1 a lot of files, deleting and launching the game again, the problem was in 1 38KB file... Just delete "remains_human_01.w2ent", that's it. GOG Games\The Witcher 2\CookedPC\items\work\remains_human_01.w2ent I don't think that file really matters in the game, hope I'll help you :D
Worked great on my old computer, but now on my upgraded system this mod breaks the game. It gets stuck on the black loading screen before any of the credits pop up. None of the fixes below worked, the log.log file just shows loading shaders as the last line. Such a shame because this ENB really helped the look of the game
Having the same issues here, well with my current PC. It works for the first few seconds when I start the game, then freezes and crashes :( I've done everything the other commenters have recommended with no success.
EDIT: Turns out all I needed was a PC reset. Great mod!

I downloaded this to try and fix characters having glowing faces and other similar gamma issues. Adjusting the gamma/brightness settings in the default menu doesn't help (game becomes too dark to see when I turn it down), and I've also played with my monitor's settings to no avail. Is there something in this pack that can help that, or something else I need to change to fix this?
