It is impossible to kill Letho in the first act on hard difficulty without using no combat regen tweak - without it game becomes frustrating, sometimes even blocking the further progress in the story.
Started a new playthrough using this and CEO only. Aard stuns enemies about 70% of the time. Is this a bug? It pretty much trivializes the game.
I am playing on hard with an imported W1 save. Have Gwalhir and Aerondight equiped, neither give bonus to stun. no potions or other effects active. Attributes show Aard Stun 0% and Stun 0%.
It's been a long time but I had a look and Aard knockdown chance is set to (50-5)% at low magic levels and (50-3%) at high.
I set mine to always random between 20% and 50% instead.

For me, it's almost impossible to defeat Letho at the end of chapter 1 unless I use that Miscellaneous file which removes opponents' vitality regeneration.
I find there are so many other people who had the same problem as I did. Hope the author would fix this problem or warn users in the description. It wasted so much my time and even forced me to abandon dark mode before I found it could be solved by using that Miscellaneous file.
nice mod but....the duration of potions is way too long, I changed back to 10min base which is acceptable with so many ingredients and allows to use the crafting interface more often which i prefer to luckily generate more mutageons.
I will see how it goes with the bosses in dark mode
EDIT> I added random durations and toxicities cuz i think alchemy is more likely to be uncertain. Higuer toxicity means more uncertainty in duration of effects.
Need help. Letho HP didnt fall at all. Didnt even move. How can I correct this? Add: I dont want to change the current vit regeneration. just that Letho's regeneration is impossible. I just want to correct his while maintaining others. Edit: went to "quest_base_abl" change the value to less than 4.0 under vitality regen and combat regen.
This mod broke all tooltips for me, so they display like "[[locale.tooltip etc etc]]" or some such. I'm verifying the game cache to try and get them to work again. EDIT: Nevermind, after verifying and installing the mod, everything is fine. I could've sworn...
It's either this mod or CEO, but something has made it so that all swords in the game have the freeze critical effect, and it's getting kind of annoying watching every other enemy turn to ice and shatter...not to mention it makes the game laughably easy. Google has turned up nothing about this bug.
I'm using the steam version. Only other mods I'm using are for aesthetics (textures, LOD, etc.). Any help would be appreciated.
I have this same problem as well. I thought it might be CEO but the author as of 2 days ago said he double checked and none of his files affect Geralt's stats, so I think its this one.
