So, what does this mod do? No offense, but doubt that anyone is going to download mod if you don't include description on what mod does & how to install it. Also, those pictures are huge turn-off. Use Steam's built in screenshot feature. Or if you are running GOG or physical version of game, use fraps for an example.
Hi ! It's just some armors I made in dds format. And you can change your dds file in Geralt folder and you'll see the difference ! No virus or aything may harm your computer
I'd recommend you to take note on things i said if you want more people to download this mod you have put your time on.
1.Include clear description what this mod does (armor retexture apparently?) 2.How to install this mod -> exact locations where each file should be extracted to 3.And also take those screenshots ingame and remove these current ones.
Don't mean to be attacking or telling you what to do, just trying to give feedback on how to improve the way you present your mod here on Nexus, and hopefully resulting getting more visibility for your work
I also doubt that anyone would suspect any files on Nexus as virus, or that anyone would even upload malicious files here on Nexus. Nexus scans all files uploaded to Nexus anyways (if file isn't too big to be scanned).
For those wondering, this mod is an armor retexture. If you click on "preview file contents" right under the download button, you will see that these are all .dds files. These are files used in Photoshop and other similar software like Gimp, for instance. And as for how it should be installed, in your data folder, you should have a folder named "override." If you don't have a folder by that name, just create one (right-click>new>folder). The data folder is located in your main install folder. In my case, it's on my C drive and it's in a folder I've named "games." I don't have my Steam games installed in programs (x86) because there are permission issues where the game might not have permission to access that folder. So make sure all your games are installed NOT in programs (x86)! The file path, in my case, is C: > games > steamapps > common > The Witcher Enhanced Edition > data > overrides. The files go in overrides. Hope this helps!
