Hey again dude i was cheking this one out and i like this one than the standard silver sword from the witcher 2, is there any way to replace the witcher silver sword with this model?
Yeah, you'll need to rename it_svswd_006.mdb to it_svswd_001.mdb. For inventory icon rename iit_svswd_006.dds to iit_svswd_001.dds. Files are located in Data/zzz_DM_Mod/new_silver_swrds
Done, I also upload some shots to your others sword replacers w/scabbard and inventory icons in their pages (TW2 Silver sword replacer and the Steel sword replacer)
P.S: i didn't upload the glamdring with the moonblade scabbard, because it wouldn't match so i used the silver sword scabbard instead.
Thanks! As I see, steel sword fits perfectly, that's great. Less work for me when I'll start work on compatibility patch. For Glamdring replacing Moonblade I'll have to make a new scabbard model, that's for sure. Standart silver sword looks slightly unnatural, scabbard is too short for it. Maybe I'll slightly edit the existing model, or will convert the one from TW2. Oh, and I'll need to make new icons for RotWW.
GOOD MAN! I just finished my faculty and i`m in a mood for WITHER and other RPG games but witcher is my main so yeah i`m waiting for your full mod and Scabbard mod update
I will try to make a compatibility patch for scabbard mod, but only after I finish the main mod itself. Also will make a compatibility patches for FCR, 'cause a lot of people use it.
Made 3 new models for Runic Silver Swords (7 more to go), but they will be released in a full mod only (they may break your game if used without other new models, which aren't ready yet). Also already made 1 new steel sword (didn't yet decided which one it will replace). Currently working on new models for Temerian Steel Sword (it always bugged me that it uses same model as Witchers Steel Sword) and new models for Order Swords. Will release them when they'll be finished. I plan to finish these in 2-3 weeks. Sorry it's taking so long, but I'm too busy IRL and don't have much time to mod these days. Wish I've been 10 years younger
No, steel sword is a standart Mahakaman rune sihill (G'valchir), I didn't touched steel swords yet.
Can't say anything about release date of the full mod, I don't have much spare time to work on it. I will, however, release some of the models when they'll be done.
