    Hello all!
    If you are following the Rebel walkthrough - since I find the game tricks you (in a good way ;) and until the end doesn't tell you that you have just a few moves before the hell breaks loose - I've create a small guide to help you search all the areas in Act 2 and explore all the beautiful landscapes and quest the developers put so much effort into. So follow the steps below and have fun!

    Note: every time you have to enter a code I've wrote below you have to press the ` key on the keyboard and then enter

    1. Enable Cheats:

    iRoll20s

    2. Which alliance you forged last: (so we can close the quest line accordingly):
    • Burning Library? --> setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BurningLibrary 4
    • Stone Sea? --> setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_StoneSea 4
    • Blade Grave? --> setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BladeGrave 4

    3. Bring back the number of allied forces joined:

    setglobalvalue FQ_RB_FactionsInAlliance 2

    4. Set & start the last quest remaining:

    Burning Library?

    • setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BurningLibrary 1
    • setglobalvalue FQ_BD_State 1
    • startquest fq_rb_qst_burninglibrary
    Stone Sea (EarthShaker)?

    5. Move the party to the right area:
    • Burning Library? -->areatransition AR_0302_Effigy South1                     
    • Stone Sea? --> areatransition AR_0502_Halfgate South1
    • Blade Grave? --> areatransition AR_0114_SentinelStand_Intro South1

    --OPTIONAL--

    6. if you want to reset the flag that "you're a cheater", enabling the achievement, follow this simple rules:
    save your game   
    open your save game folder and locate the file 
    open the save you have just done with 7zip (or similar program) 
    extract the file called MobileObjects.save   
    open the MobileObjects.save file with Notepad++ (or similar program)   
    search fo the string: m_disableAchievements   
    in the line that follow change the value: value="True" --> value="False"   
    save the MobileObjects.save file   
    put it into the save game from where you extracted   
    save/update the archive (done automatically if using 7zip)   
    reload the save game

      Thank you! When do you use this? When "Return to Ascension Hall" shows up in your quest log? After closing the second alliance quest or before?

      You'd have to use this after you win your third alliance, but before reporting back to Ascension Hall. However, it seems to me that the method described on the main page is more smooth than this, since it allows you to go through the dialogues to open the quest rather then have to set and transport there via console.

    Am I right to assume that for this to work, you have to go to the areas in a specific order for them to still be available as a choice when resetting the last? E.g. if I went Forgebound, Earthshakers, then Unbroken, even resetting the Unbroken wouldn't allow me to still do the Sages?

    Hey ! Thanks for this walkthrough.
    However, the last workaround doesn't seem to work. I did the rebel path, starting with lethian's crossing, then blade grave, then burning library. I took the ancient archive, went to Renata in the entrance to confirm that she'd be joining the alliance. I went back to the top of the mountain spire, typed the console command, and went into the meeting room : Renata is here waiting with Arri, but when I talk to Arri, she just offers me her basic conversation options, not the one to choose my next destination.
    So I tried the first solution you posted, the one when you set the global values, start the earthshakers quest manually, and unlock halfgate in the savegame file, and it appears to be working. To be safe I think I should set FQ_RB_FactionsInAlliance to 2 as well, to properly get the earthshakers in the alliance.
    I can also set FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BurningLibrary to 4, to close the sages main quest, and then set it back to 0, to make the game think I never worked with the sages (only regarding the main quest) and make Renata and her sages disappear from the meeting room.

    I'm not sure this will properly work to trigger Act 3, so for now I'll wait until I finish all the other quests (mainly bastard's wound's ones) to try it, and I'll get back here to confirm if this is working or not.

      So I finished all other quests including BW, and I began the stone sea quest.
      Here is what I did to start it "properly" (or at least it seems).
      Please note that I still don't know if this will work without bugs until the end of Act 2. I'll keep this post updated as soon as I finish it.

      1. Click ~ to open console
      2. Click enter
      3. Enter the following line by line (without the comments after "<-" of course)
      iroll20s
      setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BurningLibrary 4 <- this is to close the sages' questline
      setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BurningLibrary 0 <- this is to make the game think you never helped them, not sure if necessary but doesn't hurt
      setglobalvalue FQ_RB_FactionsInAlliance 2 <- this is to remove the sages from your alliance (from 3 to 2 : forge-bound and unbroken)
      setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_StoneSea 1 <- this is to tell the game that you're now going to stone sea, very important line as this cause the quest steps to advance properly
      setglobalvalue FQ_ES_STATE 1 <- this is to tell the game that you're going to get the earthshakers now and to make Isadora speaks to you
      startquest fq_rb_qst_stonesea <- this "officially" starts the quest
      areatransition AR_0502_Halfgate South1 <- this makes you go in Halfgate

      4. At this point, the next step of the quest should begin (kill all SC members in Halfgate). This means you're good to go. You can unlock Halfgate in the savegame and reenable achievements.
      After unlocking Halfgate in the savegame, KiS subquest should appear (speak to her)

      4b. If the next step of the quest doesn't begin, you can activate it by typing :
      setglobalvalue FQ_RB_UnlikelyAllies_QuestFlow 2
      If Isadora doesn't speak to you, do again :
      setglobalvalue FQ_ES_STATE 1

      Hey there.
      So I just finished the game and can confirm that this solution works perfectly.
      I got to do all the Stone Sea quests, became prima with the beastmen (even if I didn't recruit them in the alliance as I already had the forgebound), did the stone ritual with the earthshakers and recruited them in the alliance.
      Then I had the 3rd meeting, attack of the Chorus, declaring the edict - everything went fine.
      Lethian's crossing were attacked by disfavored and I got the next meetings fine too. The funny thing is that in the next alliance meetings the all 4 leaders were there (even Renata of the sages). During the LC attack I got some allied sages and some allied earthshakers. The banners in LC were Forgebound, Unbroken and Sages. So there were still some "remnants" of the sages questline, but no big deal.
      The ending scene, of course, mentions that I never went to Burning Library. Maybe if you dont type "setglobalvalue FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BurningLibrary 0" after setting it to 4 it would state that you did it ?

      EDIT : nevermind figured it out it all out.

      Don't know if you read my original comment, if possible how did you find out what the Area location codes are? Don't know how you found halfgates, I can't find any areas at all. =/

      Hey, I found the map code in the description of this mod, but iirc you can figure out the other ones by looking at the map files names in the game's folders !

      Wanted to say this worked for me and also as to your question "FQ_RB_MainQuest_Stage_BurningLibrary 0" needing to be done, I played without doing it and it looks like you don't need to undo sage work.

      I ended the game getting credit in one of the panels with unbroken, iron forged, and earth shakers (mentions three) but I also got the slide saying I went to and ended the fire edict, saving and helping the sages.

      I wasn't sure what you meant by going into the savegame to get the waypoint for half gate though, how to do that exactly. So I just kept typing it in manually when I needed to get there (console command teleporting there).

      Thank you so much for the help. The one thing that killed me though was that console command had to be setglobalvalue FQ_ES_State 1 with state in lower case.

      for everyone else. you can also unlock halfgate using this command:
      WorldMapSetVisibility AR_0502_Halfgate 1

      Edit: ran into a snag. can't get isadora to speak to me... even with the codes provided. 
      Edit 2: Fixed. it's setglobalvalue FQ_ES_State 1
      not setglobalvalue FQ_ES_STATE 1 the capital letters in state messed it up. 

      And for those who then find out you can't both kill radix and become stonestalker prime.
      first make sure you get the quest for going to jagged maw shrine. go there. kill as you will. go back. and before talking to hundred blood. put these codes in: 
      setglobalvalue 0504_Challenge_Known 1
      setglobalvalue 0504_Rebel_Challenge 1
      setglobalvalue 0504_Challenged_HundredBlood 1
      setglobalvalue 0504_Challenged_HundredBlood_AndWon 1
      setglobalvalue FQ_RB_PlayerDefeatedHundredBlood_ES 1
      setglobalvalue 0504_PlayerIsPrima 1

      not sure if they are all needed. but they did it for me :D

So far I am on the rebel path, i have recruited as far as i can tell, the Beastmen of the Stonestalkers tribe, and the Earthshakers. For some reason, sages won't be an option as i immediately go to ascention hall, they tell us it's too late for them (i have a save before the conversation), also archon of shadow would show up. 

      So my question is this, when do i use Shoryn's codes? and would they work for me since i don't have the sage but have beastmen and earthshakers? please any help would be appreciated. I have paused the game till i get this working as i HATE missing things.

    For those of you that wish to access the burning library from the rebel questline, and already did the stonesea, here is the commands to let you
    do that.
    Type the following in the console:

    Iroll20s
    setglobalvalue FQ_RB_UnlikelyAllies_QuestFlow 1
    setglobalvalue FQ_SA_STATE 1 (-> So lucky that I figured out what the command was for the sages, lol)
    startquest fq_rb_qst_burninglibrary
    WorldMapSetVisibility AR_0302_Effigy 1

    This is a guaranteed (and *super* easy) way for you to start the questline,
    without having to unlockall map locations, or do tedious editing of
    gamefiles. I hope you enjoy!

    It seems I can't get FQ_RB_FactionsInAlliance to 2 to work (Iroll20s is active). I'm trying to do it just before talking to Arri after hiring Sages. She has her usual dialogues and that's it. Anyone else tried to do this recently and can confirm it works?

      For future reference, scroll down two entries to the 15 March 2018 post by Shoryn. That version works still. Be sure not to allcaps State in FQ_ES_State as per the other comment.

    I tried the "setglobalvalue FQ_RB_FactionsInAlliance 2" thing but I can't progress as Arri just has her typical conversation options that don't do anything. Things right themselves well enough if I enter "setglobalvalue FQ_RB_FactionsInAlliance 3" but then the Chorus invasion starts.

    Is there a particular time I should use the command?

      I did this after the 3rd leader arrives Ascension Hall and right before he/she talks to Ari.

      I got the quest to trigger, but I couldn't talk to the contact. The quest description also talked about allying with the Stone Stalkers, and then about contacting the Earthshakers? I guess something went wrong. I followed your instructions to the letter, and also tried it multiple times, but to no avail. If you could help me with this issue I would be most obliged!

      Did you talk to everyone in Halfgate?

      This workaround was posted many months ago, so there's a chance that Paradox patches broke it.

      Since I am on my second playthrough and reached the same point of the game as last time (e.g. finished second edict), I decided to take the opportunity to investigate a simpler workaround.

      I found that you can achieve the same with a simple console command. I've updated my description
