This mod, the original "Brimstone Mod" is dead, ElaborateGore is no longer supporting/updating it.
HOWEVER! Mod author swissarmyknife has gotten permission from ElaborateGore to take over Brimstone Mod and he has done so, complete with regular updates (last update Dec 7, 2014).

Can you break the mod up into different modules of the features so we can choose which feature set to keep and not add the other bloat stuff you dont want? Also does this mod work for lifeline DLC?
hey, new here. anyway, any chance of somebody uploading the latest version from undeadlabs forums for me? i know, i know. SoD 2 is coming out this year but i won't be able to play it because my laptop is quite shit. anyway, would be appreciated if anybody is still active here.
Tried your suggestion; it worked for getting rucksacks into the vehicles, but many other aspects of the mod began to malfunction. Item mods (weapon names, weights, item stacking, etc.) no longer worked because this file acts as an extension for those as well. If you don't mind losing these features, then this solution is fine, but I for one would like to keep these features. An alternative solution to this bug is to install the "Backpacks and Pick-ups fix with climbable pickups," by Tronko. It works with NMM for easy installation, and offers realism for those who enjoy it. It is not a fantastic alternative, but it's an option until the Brimstone mod gets updated (if it ever does).
The mod doesnt seem to work for my Marcus doesnt have any of the items and none of the special features are working. Is this because I have all of the DLC?
I wish, that's my #1 problem with the mod, it breaks the ability to store rucksacks in vehicle storage, dramatically slowing down my scavenging. :/ And I find the 'fix' posted earlier in this comment box dubious at best -- we're removing one of the mod's files from circulation. It was put there for a reason...
