    You must Create a New Profile or Game to make it work 100%
    if you dont want to, you can still use it, but i don't know if new Survivors will take the New Effect of the MOD


    This will overwrite:
    characters.win.bmd
    characters.xml

    This doesn't Support other characters.win.bmd from other modders

    Extract the zip File


    paste the characters.win.bmd file here:
    " D:\Games\State of Decay - Year-One Survival Edition\Game\libs\class3\rts"(Story Mode)
    " D:\Games\State of Decay - Year-One Survival Edition\Game\libs\class3.1\rts"(Breakdown)
    " D:\Games\State of Decay - Year-One Survival Edition\Game\libs\class3.2\rts"(Lifeline)
    or
    paste the "Game folder" on the root directory of the "State of Decay - Year-One Survival Edition" game

    do not use characters.win.bmd on other modes

    like using class3 (Storymode) characters.win.bmd on class.1 (Breakdown) characters.win.bmd or class3.2 (Lifeline) characters.win.bmd
    they all have different Data on them
    specially if using class3 (Storymode) characters.win.bmd
    on class3.2 (Lifeline) characters.win.bmd you will bug the game, you using Marcus in a Black Screem

    I am running a steam copy and it doesn't work for me either.. could that be the problem?

    None of your mods (or any SOD mod for that matter) don't work! I've tried manually installing and with NMM and it's a no go. I even tried to make my own mod and copy it into the core files. But still no luck. Anyone know why it's not working????

    Doesn't seem to work. Deleted saved game an profile. Copied over the files from the archive and started a new game. Starting characters still only have their standard game gear (stick, small backpack, etc.). Is there something I'm missing?

    Update: Thought I figured it out. Looks like your achive has the "libs" folder named "lib". The "S" is missing in the folder name. After renaming the folder, copying over and starting a new profile, it still didn't work. Marcus still only has a stick for a weapon, etc.

      I'm running into the same thing. I also changed the "lib" to "libs", and I did not include story mode breakdown lifeline. On a brand new save, Marcus has 10 slots available, the weight is at 1.1lbs, with a stick and 1 bottle of health. Any help with whats missing is greatly appreciated! I started using this mod first, and I am planning to use the vehicle one as well.

      Btw, thank you for replying to my pm - its just still not working all the way.
