I don't know if you still modding this or not, can you add an optional always "active" version for all home bases as well as add some light source along all the road? :O)
I have figured out a way (with a little advice) how to increase the illumination of some lighting effects. I will be working on this and make an 'optional' file available for download, if you want to increase the lighting distance in your game.
The fires on top of the barrels are not aligned with the barrels themselves, and the fireplaces inside light up the back into the next room as if there was no wall. the glowing lamps on the community chests are really all i'm interested in, everything else seems too bright and would only attract zeds. any chance for only those?
For realism, it would be nice to have two versions - one with only interior light sources (perhaps some way to work them into outposts as well?), and one with the exterior fire barrels added. The latter definitely has an atmospheric appeal, but might be a hazard due to the attention it would draw.
I don't have the YOSE edition so I can't test it out, but it looks like the fire isn't completely contained within the meshes of the barrels, so there's that too.
