The mod currently is not compatible with YOSE. The YOSE version of the mod is coming very soon, as soon as the Undead Labs (the developer of the State of Decay), releases a new Update Patch which removes the encryption added in the YOSE Edition's data files.
Wow! I think I speak for everyone else here when I say we are very thankful for this little update! I, at least, thought this wonderful mod was dead for good but I guess not! Thanks!
Just wanted to confirm, the mod actually does work with YOSE.
Just tested this myself, and the mod works, the only thing that doesnt work is the icons dont show up, but in game, daryl shows up and so does his crossbows. The inventory shows a picture of a rifle instead of the crossbows, but in game they work fine.
hi, I installed the mod and it works wonderfully in Breakdown - why can't I upload the character in YOSE - your "coming very soon" is dated 2015 and it is now 2021 - is this ever coming out?
Update: Daryl Dixon now replaces Marcus in YOSE but comes with no crossbow - I did however find the crossbow later on in game - I also added the mod for explosive crossbow but it is a bit OP
Update: This mod does not work with the Walking Dead mod - (Rick, Glenn, Maggie, Carol, Abraham, Michonne) Daryl Dixon is not one of the survivors in the game unfortunately, unless it is conflicting with another mod as well
I recently decided I needed to visit Trumbull again, but after 600+ hours unmodded, this time I needed some change. Specifically, My ultimate aim is to add Lifeline weapons and lifeline characters to Breakdown. So this leaves me with Brants Military Surplus that edits the items folder you use, and a Lifeline Characters mod that also effects a character file you change. I'm completely new to modding, so I just wanted to be safe and ask, these mods are not compatible with yours right? I can't rename something or easily combine them? (Because this one seems amazing and I am not even much of a TWD fan....)
Daryl and his pic have appeared he has a machete and all of his traits but doesnt have a crossbow does he start with one? Can you give specific instructions or an alternate download please Thanks
mod works fine but daryl didn't start with his crossbow and i can't have him use it as both a melee and ranged weapon at the same time. im just curious to why? love the mod SilentResident
My friend, I am aware of the methods for bypassing the encryption but I prefer waiting for the encryption to be removed officially (by the Undead Labs) and the files to be updated and re-structured in the upcoming YOSE Update Patch, rather than rushing to update my mods in the current temporary state. I want just to make sure that any unnecessary, possible, and unforeseen bugs and errors caused to the game are avoided.

Did you take Daryl out of story with this then? And is it lifeline compatible? I'm after getting back into this and i have Daryl In story with your crossbow (rifle replacement) version.. Of and i remember adding the angle wings on his back if your interested in that little detail
The mod you are referring to, is a very old version of the current mod, no longer supported anymore. It is better to uninstall the old mod and install the current newer version.
The newer version of the mod is compatible with the latest version of the game, regardless of what DLCs do you own.

The newer version of the mod is compatible with the latest version of the game, regardless of what DLCs do you own.
