Hiya! I used this mod before the 1.6 update and I absolutely loved it! Do you think you would be open to updating this for the 1.6 update? It would make me very happy to this one being revived, but then again: modding is hard work and I totally understand if you'd rather not work on such a project. I hope you're doing okay! ^^
Hey i'm having a little trouble this is the first time I've ever tried to use a portraits mod and I don't quite know how to get one to work. Could someone please post some instructions for this mod?
(Preface: I agree with you, this mod is awesome and needs more love.)
I strongly doubt it's ever going to happen, truth be told. Krobus' sprites past his default haven't been updated yet (unpacked the XNBs to see for myself) and the mod's been dead ever since. Checking the author's DeviantArt and tumblr accounts show no activity concerning SDV (last tumblr update was something like 3 years ago, IIRC). I would love to see an update to this, or even see somebody pick it up as an abandoned mod, I'll admit -- this is the only portrait mod I use, period! -- but I'll also be the first to admit I'm not holding my breath over it.
I have no experience with pixel art whatsoever, but I'm giving a shot at editing some portraits for the beach costumes. I'm not sure if I'll have willpower to do it for more chars than the bacharelottes.

This mod is truly the best portrait mod out there, and I can't imagine the game with another. I know it's a lot of work, but would you consider making it compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded?
