For anyone seeking an Stardew v1.6 "working" version for chest labeling, install https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/518 Chest Anywhere by Pathoschild himself (SMAPI author) for regularly updated chest labeling (including shipping bin and fridges) as well as remote chest access ability (can be disabled for vanilla experience).
hope it can work on more zoom levels and ui sizes in the future. lucky for me, I only adjust the zoom level which the zoom buttons can make easier if I have to adjust them
Does not work well on mobile devices. Chest Anywhere works better for labeling your chest plus by using a hotkey you can access them from any location.
Very weird bug, but if I name a chest "Seasonal Decorations" it'll sorta turn into a mushroom box after sleeping. Half of the box looks likes a chest and the other half looks like a mushroom box. The chest still works and I can remove it with a tool like a normal chest, but I get a mushroom box instead.
This mod is outdated. Use Chest Anywhere instead. Can still name your chest but will have access to them from anywhere with the hotkey, or change the config file so you only have access when on Farm.
