These recipes are super annoying to put together and expensive. We have way easier recipes for most of these buffs in the game. Granted, maybe you can't have the same two buffs you'd like with those but it's still easier to just grab multiple of the game recipes. Sucks, I was really excited for this mod. Only way I'd ever get these foods is if I could buy them.
I just have a thing going on with a translation I've done for me... I've done a lot of translations, but here is something not OK with i18n. Keeps getting the default.json and not the translation... no errors or anything showed on SMAPI (it's easy to detect them and it says if the .json couldn't be loaded and why)...
The one thing I noticed though is that it doesnt behave quite like festival food. At the festival, the foods stack with normal food bonuses. You can in theory have three bonuses (for example, spicy taco + crab cake + coffee) but with these recipes, they act as normal foods. So the spicy taco buff would get overriden by this recipe's crab cake. But its might be better for balance this way.
Just wondering if this includes the recipe for Dinosaur casserole? I got it from the chef, and the buffs were great (+4 mining, +4 luck, +64 magnetism, +2 speed, +7 defence. 7 mins. 375 Energy, 168 Heath. 'Thick and pungent, but highly nutritious.' is the item blurb), but can't find anything about it online??? I can't remember the selections I made with the chef to get it—which is diving me a little mad trying to replicate it on another save—but I think it might be a rarer drop with those stats. No way its a normal drop. I definitely don't have any mods installed that give that particular recipe either, unless SVE included it, but I don't think so. I checked with the Animal Husbandry author, and its not from that either. Just curious if its included in this, because as said, its not on the wiki or anywhere else. And if not, since it's clearly not regular, wasn't sure if it would be in this pack.
Hi there, so I did look into this for you and honestly I can't say I have any idea where this dish comes from. To get my list of recipes I looked at the festival strings directly and didn't see anything for a dinosaur casserole in them, also took the liberty of asking around and checking SVE to see if they added it and no luck with that either. If you wanted to post a log with your mod list I could comb through that to try to find it's origin for you but other than that there isn't much I can do.
Hi, I would like to suggest if maybe you could make recipes for other things which can't be cooked like maybe Stardrop Tea and the Magic Rock Candy? I know they are not from the desert but they are technically really rare and I love to have the possibility to cook anything... Magic Rock Candy recipe could be sold for like 50k and it could be like; prismatic shard + sugar. As for and the Tea, i have no idea lol
Anyway, just a suggestion, tell me what you think about this :)

You know maybe what it could be?
