Love this mod, have always wanted more grain in the game. Especially happy to see rye as a Dane who grew up on rye bread!

    Hii! ^^
I'm really enjoying your mod so far — thank you for making it! — but I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong: besides brown rice, I'm unable to put anything else in the mill for transformation, specifically I tried with Oat, Barley and Buckwheat and none of them gets accepted =(
Also (and I'm not complaining about this!) when you harvest buckwheat you get seeds, right? Well, this seeds depending on their quality may be worth up to 300 gold each! 🤑🤑 Which makes them kinda like the new Tea Saplings! 🤑🤑 Not complaining, as I was saying, just curious to know if this was made on purpose. 👀

    Thank you again! =D

I made the Buckwheat very similar to how Sunflowers work! Definitely mostly on purpose, but if it's wayyy too much I would consider balancing the prices a little more (edit: it was suppoosed to sell for 20 but I see that it was selling for 200 so i changed it.) It's hard to get too much of a grasp on price balancing so if you have an opinion about it feel free to give it~

As for the mill items, would you be able to upload a log to the bugs tab and maybe I can see what's wrong? https://smapi.io/log
(Edit: now that I think about it, I have not added the milled items to the 1.5.6 version yet, so that could be it as well.)

Oookay, so I'm an idiot. 🥲
I wanted to check again if I was getting something wrong because in my log there was no error of any sort and... turned out I was. I have Automate and the Brown Rice works fine with it, but even so I tried putting myself the items in the mill, but I was wrongly using the left-click of mouse instead of right-click! So yeah, my mistake, everything worked out.
      Thanks for everything!

Maybe Automate doesn't work with this mod fully? I put rice in the chest attached to my mill, it gets pulled in, and then the milled rice goes back into the chest. Buckwheat doesn't seem to want to work that way. It just sits in the chest and nothing happens. I'll try putting the buckwheat directly in the mill now and see if the flour will go into the chest through Automat

Edit: I can't mill anything. Oats, buckwheat... it just doesn't want to work... and I don't know what I could be doing wrong. I am not using the chest... I am just trying to put them into the mill. Only rice and wheat work. When I try anything else, it just asks if I want to *eat* the item. I am not getting any bugs or errors. The items just don't work.

I'll update again if I figure anything out.

Edit 2: So I guess it just doesn't work with Automate. After I took the connection to the chest away, I was able to load the grains into the mill. The product then pops out after some time and I can store it in a chest afterward.

hmmmmmm.... when I test it it seems to be working..... do you have any mods that edit the mill data? They might possible overwrite my entries rather than adding their own separate ones or something which makes them incompatible with all other mods that add millables....

I have about 170 mods... so it could be something interfering... but I don't think I'd be able to figure out which mod/mods could be the culprit. As I stated above, it works now, but I can't have the Automate chest connected to the Mill at all. I have to load the grains manually and remove them manually.

While a slight inconvenience, it isn't horrible.

      Thanks.

i love the mod, but i'm also having issues using the mill - i tried it with buckwheat and oats and it didn't work. i don't have automate but i DO have a ton of other mods, so maybe something else is interfering. (i do have junimatic which is similar to automate ... but i haven't used it yet.)

@tearful0eye, Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it's that one, since it probably edits how the Mill works... I'm a bit curious about which mods interfere with it since some mod authors didnt even realize you could edit Mill data the way I did. Probably a few popular ones

@slimerrain I am also having trouble milling some of the grain, like oats. You mentioned that it could be because other mod authors did not edit the mill the same way, and the only mod I have that also adds oats is the Cornucopia More Crops. Could this be the issue, and how might I (or, help) fix it if it is?

i also tried a couple more things: i had no problem milling rye and barley. i also removed junimatic and tried again with oats/ buckwheat & it still says they can't be milled. so it's probably another mod. i don't have the other grains yet but i'll try a few more things to see if i can't find out what it
      is.
(i have a TON of mods, so there are quite a few possibilities/ problems. but if you're interested & want a look at my log yourself. i hope it helps)

@sssheldo, @tearful0eye, I'm gonna try to take a look some time this week, but I got the logs [: . I've been a little busy with the move, so I'll try to find a moment where I can look. (Shouldn't be too much to look at since I already have somewhat of an idea after looking at the logs. We shall see, though.)

Hello! Sorry I don't mean to bother, but can you copy and paste the edit I made to your SeedShop.json file in your mod? I've simply added a few lines of code to make it so that the seeds from your mod in Pierre's Shop are categorized alongside the other seeds, rather than appearing at the bottom of the shop UI.

    SeedShop.json - edit

I find it a bit inconvenient to always scroll to the bottom when purchasing your seeds, and it also adds to the immersion when it is done this way. After you've copied and pasted my code into your mod, it should look like this.

    Hi, it's me again! ^^
I'm trying to go for the Gourmet Chef achievement, but Overnight Oats appears in the Cooking collection tab despite being obtained through a preserve jar, so it still results as never cooked before as it is not made through the kitchen. Maybe it could be moved to the Artisan Goods category?

    Hi!
I tried to message you through nexus, but its being naughty.

I was wondering if its alright to add a compatibility to the recipes in your mod?

The MultiYieldCrop file of my mod is the only part that needs MultiYieldCrops, so if you don't want that portion you can just install the mod without the [MYC] folder [: (or just delete the existing [MYC] folder.)

Though, if it still has problems without the MYC folder let me know... I thought it worked fine without it

hello again, i noticed in the collection tab under cooking all the different grains items that you don't cook(The stuff you mill) are here but are blacked out and ???. Now the game says i have 100% cooking recipes so i guess i won't worry too much just odd to look at the collection and see blanks in it.
