Hello everyone! I'm back to stardew valley as the wonderful new version. It's already 1.5 year since I first updated the mod. My skills on making mods aren't good enough at that time so it has too many bugs and incompatibility. Thanks for your downloads and comments while this mod is totally immature. Now I can't help playing the whole new game. Since I still have some other things to do, I might not spend time on this mod soon. But I will remake it in the near future. Thank you again.
Asked for advice in SDV modded game support discord channel and they advised letting the author know. Rest of the mod config seems to be working okay, just the minigame skip with issues since the sdv 1.6/smapi 4.0 update
This is 100% correct, I'm in the same boat here, sorry for any reposts, but everything about Better Fishing works with the new SMAPI and 1.6 except for the Skip Mini Game.
It's a great mod, thank you so much for all of your hard work ^^ But I was wondering if there was a way to code it so you could press Esc (or whichever hotkey we set it up as) to exit the treasure chest menu if we don't want the treasure instead of having to click Ok all the time? Maybe a toggleable option
Although the SMAPI page says this one is working with the current 1.6, it is actually not. The only mod I find so far that can skip fishing mini game is 'Fishing Mod'
If you enable all the mod options, then the chance of a perfect catch will be - 0. I found out at a holiday where you can get tokens for fishing. Probably because of this, purple fish is rarely caught, the skill is at its maximum. Can I add an option? For me, the meaning disappears, I'm looking for another mod. What is the interest in these options if the chance is 0 with them.. I had a mod for skipping a mini-game, there's a bonus for perfection works, it's more convenient here, of course, but I'll put another mod) It's strange, there are a lot of options that make fishing easier, if you turn them on, then you turn off the bonus.. Who wants difficulties, plays the original..
