Thank you so much for this mod. My dog passed away peacefully today, her name is Jersie and she is a Black Lab. I'm going to be playing Stardew valley with her running around my farm. This means a lot to me.

Can I request a white pibbie with brown back-spotting? Like this guy for example? He's my fibro dog and my wife's baby. https://imgur.com/gallery/HpMJpEm

Hi, not sure if this is a bug with adopt & skin, but when I put your PNG's into adopt and skins assets and renamed them to fit the naming scheme for A&S, I tried to change the skin of my dog to chocolate lab, but it made my dog invisible instead. Any ideas?

Edit: Yeah looks like it's just a quirk of adopt and skin, need to save and reload the game to get the dog back lol

I love your style and color selection here -- it matches the vanilla art style perfectly. Do you have any plans to make a similarly large pack of cat retextures?

Hey, thanks! I wasn't planning to do cats, because I think the vanilla cats are already perfect :3

Any chance you could add an irish wolfhound texture? They're my dream dog that I'll never be able to fully appreciate since I can't give them the attention they need

Aww, I love wolfhounds! They're a little hard to capture but I gave it a try, hope you enjoy!

just wanted to say I love this mod! I knew that if i could, i wanted to mod the dog to be a pit bull because... they are precious babies... and I love them... and this one has multiple colors! even brindle!! (my frenchie is brindle, she is also baby...) i never see brindled dogs in games or mods. personally went with the strawberry pibble since its closest to mine with his pink nose.

So happy to hear from a brindle and pink nose appreciator, truly a dog lover of culture! Give your babies some extra pets from me! <3

I'm pretty sure this mod hasn't been updated for 1.4 yet and it won't work until it is

very sweet c: this was my first mod and i ran into a hiccup during install--the smapi error logs had something along the lines of "this is not a smapi mod". to fix, i had to create a separate folder (eg. "Mag's Dog Reskins) in the Stardew/Mods folder and extracted the files into that \o/

this is super cute! but question, theres a few mods that say to change the JSON file but they dont explain how? when i open the config it just opens the media center for windows and thats it. is it supposed to open something different? i really want to use the grim doggy :(

I'm brand new to all of this and was looking for an answer as well!
If you still need it; I know it's a bit late
Right click the file, click 'open with', choose 'more apps', then open the file in notepad and edit it from there after you have it unzipped :)
