Is there anyway to edit who get's identified as an elder? Some of these people, like the legate Rikke, I don't consider an elder. I tried removing all imperial armors from the elders outfits mod, but that just made her a floating head, even after the "removeallitems, disable, enable" trick in console commands. EDIT: Okay I figured it out. For anyone else, if you don't want certain people, like Danica, to be an elder, open this mod in SSE Edit, open the Non Player Characters tab under this mod, and delete any characters listed you don't want wearing the default outfits.
I have learned of a strange issue with vortex backup feature which might align with a lot of the peoples problems when NPCs clothes go completely invisible or just disappear... I believe this to be the cause of .vortex_backup files completely replacing your normal files and then when you uninstall a mod, they completely get removed from the game. The only way I could fix this was remove all .vortex_backup files in the meshes folder and finding some npc replacer to replace all clothes in the game and having other mods overwrite that one. Except these vortex_backup files might be the only files in place and when you delete them, you basically remove all of that armor. This is why I arrived here to reinstall that armor.
This bug also caused my deleted mods to still appear on clothes after deletion because their ".vortex_backup" files would take priority. I have no idea how the hell their backup system works but it really really sucks. I wish there was more information on it readily available but there isn't and nor do I know how to find it.
I am experiencing a bug that is apparently the same bug many others are dealing with. Some elderly women NPCs are clothed and some are not. This happens randomly whether I have met that elderly woman NPC for the first time or not. Using the console command "resetinventory" does not fix the problem like the FAQ on the description says it should. So what gives? Has anyone found a permanent fix that works? On my own I have only found a temporary fix and that is to reinstall the mod entirely.
This bug is happening in a new saved game. All my mods, including this one, have been installed by Vortex then sorted by LOOT.
doesn't work for me for some reason, I use Vortex, CBBE, Fairskin, Minidresses, and Spice gear. Danica still wears the minidress and some are default but their breasts clip through the clothes. when I install using Vortex it doesn't give me the opting to overwrite Cbbe or the other Clothing bods so I'm assuming not loading after the other mods could be part of the Issue. I have no knowledge of how mads actually work so that's just my best guess.
Be careful if using this mod for Elderly! It doesn't have Any fixes made by USSEP! And there are some crucial fixes done by that patch. Faction fixes, key items , loot etc. Just forward all fixes to this mod then use it. This mod only changes outfit so its easy to merge
I have a problem I have Cbbe Remodeled Armor and when I install this mod it works half way... some of the elders don't have shoes on anymore but there upper body is now in the vanilla armor. Any idea how to fix the shoe bug?
It's just doesn't work and I can't explain it, I install it with MO2, chose that have have the DLCs and the bijin mod. I enter the game and the random elder woman didn't change at all... did the mod didn't make the folders in the right place?
