Thanks for porting Ugly to SE ; I had this little guy already on my Oldrim ... Bless you, dear LittleVienna Ugly will always remain in my heart since I've learned about him.
I first read the story of Ugly about 20 years ago. Absolutely broke my heart, she just wanted to be loved. When I stumbled upon this mod, I was like.. "NO! Can it be?" And sure enough it was. I didn't have to read the story again, but I started crying immediately! I have to have Ugly!! Thank you for making this! <3
That is just so sad and it means so much to me: One winter day when it was absolutely freezing outside our she puss Boo appeared at our back door with a little black waif and stray in tow, he was in a terrible condition, he was skin and bone with matted fur and was breathing terribly. We brought him inside and gave him food and love. He was obviously very very poorly and we thought he had the flu and would have no hope We took him to the vets and were absolutely astonished. He was so tiny we thought he was a kitten and the vet said he was actually about 18months! we were shocked but worse was to come - his jaw had been broken and mended deformed and that was the reason for his breathing problems, and he is slighly deaf, the vet said it was probable that someone had kicked him in the face. All his front teeth are missing except for his incisors. We took him home to look after and love. He was a nervous wreck for many months and didnt want to go out and followed us around the house, he even sat on the cistern when we went to the loo! but slowly with lots of cuddles and love he grew and grew and is now a year later a beautiful enormous tom with lovely thick fur who happily goes out to play - hes turned into a proper tom now and stays out all night and sleeps all day but he always comes for cuddles on his way in. He is incredibly greedy - obviously because he was starved. He still has breathing problems and snores loudly when he is asleep, it is really funny when he does stay in at night as he and hubby take turns to snore - yes his snores are that loud. What made it even more amazing was that Boo our she puss was a rescue cat herself and for her to bring him home to us... it was a really special moment I find it so hard to understand people who do things like that to these wonderful creatures who just want to share their love with us, it is inhuman. Thank you so much for sharing your story it is so sad and I cried my eyes out. Thank goodness there are people like yourself in the world as well as those who have no right to the title of human! I promise to love and look after Ugly and look forward to adventuring with him
