curious too; i'd really like to see a screenshot of someone with kidmer in their 6 kid house. i have been having no end of difficulty with multiple adoptions but i'm 90% sure i installed the problems and ghosts of the problems before i installed kidmer. so far the kidmer act pretty much the same as the other urchins except maybe less dialogue/interacting.
Sometimes she wanders around Riften. I've found her in and around the town square a lot, in front of the orphanage, in front of the temple, and hanging around the buyable house. So far she's always been outside but she could be anywhere in the city.
i'm wondering if installing 3D NPCs has anything to do with this, since the only child i find in riften (outside honorhall) is olette from that mod. is having that mod installed consistent for everyone else or just a coincidence? i also tried tracking her down using what SSEedit marks as her ref id but no luck that way.
The Merchildren in my game all have messed up eyes, They rubber band out of the head and leave the eye sockets as empty holes, Quite Creepy and I don't know how to fix it. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? I'm also playing in VR and don't know if that itself is the problem.
This is one of my favourite mods from way back when the first version was released! I use Simple Children and its patch with it now so the kids have some more outfits and hairstyles, even when my characters don't adopt them, they're a delightful presence in the game that should have had more kids besides humans. I don't know if Elf Child NPCs is abandoned or not, I would have loved to see that one too but in any case thank you so much for this mod, a must have!
I doubt it, but I thought I'd ask (not a critique of you, just that I think the odds are low) but is this compatible with Hearthfire Children grow up, or no? No biggie if it doesn't, looks like a fabulous mod, well done!
I know this is an old post, but I always read all available documentation before installing a mod. So... I saw this post, and checked those 13 "bugs." The majority are either the result of user error (READ the instructions people!), or incompatibilities with other mods (again, READ). I'm just mentioning it here, in case anyone is scared off from downloading this mod.
I've been using this mod in my game for three years now (first manually, then with NMM, now with Vortex) with no problems -- or I should say, no problems that aren't inherent Skyrim problems that afflict vanilla Hearthfire kids too. The issues on the bugs page that aren't caused by load order (e.g. missing clothes) mostly fall into that category and you can find solutions with a quick google.
(I have run into some of the kids in the wrong place -- mostly Winterhold, walking towards where they're supposed to be -- but Skyrim is a buggy game by nature so I just went "meh" and ignored it. They've always showed up where they belong eventually.)
So yes: to second what Sonja said, this mod is perfectly fine to use...as long as you pay attention compatibility/patches, and accept that it's going to suffer from the same possible bugs that afflict all of Skyrim.
So I'm having trouble with the mod, only got this and beast race kid mods downloaded so far as kid mods go, when this mod is active, the kids in Whiterun are all in only theur underwear. I dunno why, but they are. I just wanna be able to adopt dunmer children as a dunmer.

All the kids have black face for some reason. Anyone know how to fix this?
