Not compatible with AE, even after using downgrade patcher. Write this note for anyone who has the same issue.

I have been using this mod for a long time and I absolutely love it. But since I don't know how to modify mod files I can't convert it to esp.

The reason why I need an esp file of this mod is that I can't use it with another compass mod, so could you please release one ?

I'm sure some other people will find it useful :>

It's working as expected for me, and I use a lot of UI-altering mods, like:  SkyUI, Immersive Hud (iHUD), moreHUD, moreHUD Inventory, iNeed, A Matter of Time, Better Dialogue Controls, Better MessageBox Controls, et. al.

The author has thoughtfully added a contrast zone (black area) around the reticle, so it's visible even when pointed at an area of the same color.  Screenshots added.

A simple but effective mod that does what it says.  Endorsed.  Thanks.

No such a thing as a dot cross hair .... it's either a cross hair or it's a dot ..... Maybe a cross hair with a dot in the middle

It it doesn't have a cross or an "+" it's not a cross hair by definition of "cross"

cross hairs also do not have a hair so wouldn't take the word too literally :-)

Great mod, one of my "must haves"

Sadly, it's not compatible with the new Survival mode Beth brought out

Hey, just installed Survival mode and it seems to work fine with me.

I wanted to adjust it for Survival based on your comment but there is nothing to change, at least going by my game. Survival really is on and the dot is there.

Maybe mod re-install ? Or a conflicting HUD mod ?

The dot does work with Survival, but it seems that the status bars for health, stamina, and magicka don't work correctly. The dark regions of the bars caused by afflictions don't show up and even though internally your stamina for example might have a lower max, it doesn't show in the hud.

A quick way to test is to uninstall the mod, use a carriage to travel somewhere with Survival enabled. When you arrive, your stamina and magicka bars should have dark regions. Keep that save, install the mod again and load the save. You'll see the dark regions of the bars are gone.

Would really appreciate an update if you can figure that out since I don't like the standard crosshair and have a hard time playing without the dot from this mod.

I also hadn't realized the Sneak Eye doesn't appear with this mod. It would be nice if the Sneak Eye could still appear, but as you said below that would be more work.

thetroc pretty much summed it up in his comment.

The mod wont crash the game, but it modifies hudmenu.gfx (I think that's the name of the file, sorry at work so can't check) which is modified by Survival.

Survival changes the file for the two icons on either side of the compass to indicate region/player temperature as well as the afflicted regions on health, stamina and magicka bars.

Happy to volunteer for testing if you happen to update

Sorry for 2,5 year late reply :-)

I'm playing without any HUD at all, so never noticed it. Am afraid there won't be new version of my mod (hardly remember how I went about it :-)

Hi, just to say thank you and mention that it works perfectly fine with iHUD and iActivate on Skyrim Legendary Edition. Don't know if it was on purpose but I let you know. Fantastic job !

I see I'm not the only one missing the sneak eye. Would you add an option to return the sneak eye?
