Version 0.4 - Changed the plugin into an ESL. As a consequence, the utility quest's formID has been renumbered to 0x800, but functionality stays the same. - No changes to the script, so the script sources v0.3 are still relevant. Do not UPDATE to a newer version if you want to keep playing from a save created while using any older version.
Really would like this to stop auto-equipping iron arrows whenever i drop and re-equip my current bow or when i equip a new bow. Are there plans to have it equip the highest damage arrow rather than the lowest, or better yet, not equip anything until the player chooses their desired arrows?
Thank you, but technically speaking, it is the second best. The very best is the new version, which comes with support for followers and with several other really cool and useful features, all while still being very lightweight. Unfortunately, i didn't release it yet, mostly because i still haven't picked a site where to upload it.
It is a matter of principle. I do not like how Nexus behaves towards its users, and there are only two choices: One is to keep uploading, which would be like saying "i don't mind Nexus, be as you like". The other is to stop uploading, which won't change anything, but has the benefit of me not feeling like a hypocrite.
For people that are having a problem with your arrows not unequipping after unequipping your bow, here is how to get this mods unequip arrows function to work every single time. Please note that this problem mostly occurs when you have only one type of arrows in your inventory, so also keep that in mind.
1. Open up your inventory menu. If your bow is not equipped, then equip it.
2. While still in the inventory menu, find your Equipped arrows and Un-equip them and then immediately re-equip them back on again. Just toggle the arrows OFF and then back ON again. This action will get the mod to register the arrows to your equipped bow and after that, the arrows will equip and unequip with the bow. Works every time.
The nice thing about this mod is that it works with Become a Bard and the Wearable Lute file. Auto Hide Ammo kept hiding the Lute guess as it's probably the same slot used and not check the item type.
Works like a charm. At first I was a little worried, as my bow default equipped arrows that did not get removed when I swapped out to my dagger, but then when I unequipped these arrows and equipped them again (effectively assigning this arrow type to the bow I was using) it worked flawlessly. Thanks for sharing your mod. Endorsed :)
I got to this mod through a comment, it surprised me, because it surpassed Auto Hide Ammo. In fact the load game has always been a problem for AHA, now with this mod, no more. It was hard to find this mod, maybe because of the name... I don't know if this mod appeared on Hot Files, but it deserved it. It is an extreme need. Congratulations!

I mean your current mod is already on here, I don't see the big deal by simply updating it to a newer (and better) version.
