Thank you so much this works perfect with CBBE - pride of valhalla combo, had a serious neck seam issue after reinstalling Skyrim and this fixed it!

Is this compatible with Diversity - A character overhaul? I know that mod was created as sort of a mod for WICO, but I'm not sure

Hi the female head detail age 40 and 50 files are not supported by windows 7 users. This will cause the game to crash. The file format is not supported.

That's impossible since Skyrim only uses one type of file for these kinds of stuff and I'm using those complexions in-game. I maybe wrong though but the chances are, you've installed multiple mods whilst applying my fix and one of those installed mods are causing your game to crash. Also these kind of files are not known to be the cause of crashes since their impact is very very minimal.

Hi. :) I run Windows 7 and was getting CTDs with these textures too, so I looked up a guide and saved them with DXT5 compression in GIMP (first time I've tried anything like that) and the problem stopped. Apparently it's just a certain version of DirectX that reacts badly.

The new, less green tint looks great in game - thank you! The freckles are a bit greyish now, like you said, but they're easy enough to avoid - I'm really not sure how to tweak things that far, haha. Newbie.

Hi, the complexion is great but the included diffuse texture is out of date or not meant for the SSE version of mature skin... using it actually creates a subtle neck seam

I'm sorry to reply so late, I barely visited this site much since I'm busy with studies.

This mode requires "Mature skin texture and body for UNP UNPB 7BASE CBBE Vanilla (SE) by Maevan2," see Description then under requirements. Have that one installed first then replace the files with my fix. Instructions are also included in Description.

Sorry for late reply, I'm doing a lot of stuffs atm. There should be none unless you've installed mods that affects that folder e.g. Skin textures like the one provided as requirement when you download my file. As for the files you need the original version of this mod which is the Mature Skin Texture and Body by Maevan2, install it first then copy my files to that folder location and replace when asked. Only download my files if you're annoyed with the neck seams just like me.

After a closer observation I noticed that the freckles looks too dirty without the green tint, I will try to work on it and find a suitable freckles to blend with mature skin texture. Will update once I noticed a smoother alteration after working with my animations.

Works perfect. Thank you. I was using medium no moles no scars (not blemish) and mature body no moles scars. This works perfect to get rid of that neck seam. Thank you!

You're welcome, good to know it's also working perfectly with others. Death to seams!

TBH, I couldn't really see any difference one way or the other. I use mature body w moles\no scars\young face, I don't know much difference that makes since your just changing the head texture. The level of visible seams, look nearly identical on the NPCs and on the DB itself.

Also using NMUBS to control that awful banding problem on bodies SSE was nice to enough retain\re-introduce fwiw.

Sorry noob here, not sure I'm familiar with those acronyms NWUMB & fwiw. Anyways thanks for clarifying with mature body, gonna stroke that out in description now.

NUMBS stands for no more ugly bronze shine. It's an issue that appears on many female body textures when a light source causes a weird oily glow shine. There was this mod that removed it by adding blank files ( i have no idea on the technical part but i think that's what it did ). Anyway it's no longer on the nexus for some reason.

Can you also make a version with Face : Medium ( blemish )

No Scars, Moles , young body

Some other user was very kind and helped me with my neck seam a lot but i wouldn't mind testing yours as well. Also you should remake the complexions as well ! ( freckles , 40's etc )

Oh the ugly bronze shine silly me anyways It's already in Medium blemish no scars, no moles. Btw body types won't matter as Mebantiza stated, so young or mature won't matter. Also I don't know where the complexions file/folder is, and if it's not a DDS file that can be edited in GIMP I'm afraid I can't do it.

I see. The complexion files are femaleheaddetail_age40.dds femaleheaddetail_age50.dds femaleheaddetail_frekles.dds and femaleheaddetail_rough.dds . They can be found in the same place where femalehead.dds is if you selected the complexions in the installer ( not the plugin )

Ah haven't installed that one but I hope it do fix and get rid of the annoying green tint on the neck when using different complexion in vanilla, damn the imperfections.

      Edit:
Yay been experimenting with the file, trying to get a way around it and finally got the green tint removed though details remained green so.. later.

      Progress

With the SSE poort for Mature Skin Texture, NMUBS is no longer needed. SkyrimSE with the files from the SSE Nexus don't give bronze shine. Fresh install of that mature skin with these textures work perfect .
