Lovely home, I added to flavor up, together with Jk's Riverwood and Cd's Farm house wip, the area round Riverwood.
Is it possible to make an addon for this home? Where it not a player home, but an herbalist lives or hermit who also sells alchemy stuff? Would make the area more lively and good addon for riverwood. Especialy if keep the npc navmesh just to this house and just outside attending maybe a little herb garden.
Yes i know there an riverwood overhaul that add an alchemist shop across the inn, but i tested most riverwood overhauls and most have trouble with navmeshes even jk's riverwood in combo with another guys addon to jk's riverwood breaks the navmeshes.
This Mod is AMAZING! It meshes perfectly well with many other mods, specially Jks Skyrim and Immersive Fallen Trees! It needs a very minor tweak to work flawlessly with Simply Bigger trees, as there is one tree next to it that once scaled to 0.7 actually complements the shack by giving it shade and making it feel more "overgrown" , at default size it "eats" up part of the right side of the house, but it can work too! Roleplaying an old house that a tree began to "eat" slowly over decades. For aesthetics I just targeted the tree and "setscale 0.7" to it to make it look like in my screenshots. That was all.
I have attached pictures to show how it looks! It is amazing I tell you! Love this mod! I am also using Viscous Foliage if you curious, this house blends perfectly with many other immersive mods, and I heartily recommend this house if you want Nice small and cozy houses that blend with the in game lore. No weird castles floating in the sky or mannequin legions here, just a truly immersive and NORMAL house in Riverwood, very simple and beautiful! :)
Omg thank you! I didn't think people would still find my mods since I have been so inactive but seeing this made me so happy! I don't usually try my mods with any other mods, just to keep it simple for myself, but I'm glad that the house works with your other mods, it looks great! I'm trying to get back into modding again, so it makes me really happy to hear that my mods haven't been forgotten.
Hello, sorry to be a bother but I am unable to sleep in the cottage as it says I'm trespassing. I also couldn't find Tanja's Note or the Cottage Key but in SEEdit it looks like those assets should be attainable. Any ideas about what could be preventing player ownership? Yes I always try to make as much clutter as possible static since I really like it that way, but since I'm working with a lot of small objects, I really appriciate people telling me if I missed something, so thank you for notifying me! I will fix it in the next update!
I will look into the oven you suggested, tho I think it will be though squeezing in more crafting in there, so I'm very sorry if it doens't happen.
Riverwood is one of my most favourite spots. With sse Leaf Rest is not an option so when I saw this I was delighted. I just downloaded it and checked it out. The site and look of the cottage is perfect. I am disappointed tho with the inside. I have the realistic lighting overhaul and I don't know if that is interfering with the light inside the cottage but I find it very dark. I have a female and there is no problem with the doors. As a suggestion - perhaps a floor across the top to join the two areas instead of two ladders, this would give the main floor a bit more space for a table and chairs to just sit or sit an eat.

I have not tested this mod with any lighting mod - as written in the description - so I don't know how the mod would react. Though there's a big chance that it's the mod itself, so I will look into this, thank you for notifying me!
You also proposed a really great suggestion, the thing is that I personally really like cramped spaces - which why I make my own mods - so to me there is enough space to live in. I can see why people thinks it's too cramped, but this is my personal preference.
