Anyone who was experiencing CTDs need to download V3. This addresses many of the CTD issues if not all of them. NOTE: If you have any as a spouse before switching versions they will be removed.
Love the concept of this mod, but I think there was some type of critical conflict with my mods list that was causing repeatable CTD's at the Orc Strongholds of Dushnikh Yal and Mor Khazgur (only ones tested, could be all and other locations where the Dominions NPCs are though). After a couple hours of testing, once I uninstalled Dominions More Orcs, everything works fine. Not sure where the conflict came from, but the CTD's were happening whenever I would enter the cell with the orc stronghold or close to the grid line.
Not looking for a solution to this, just wanted to let you know. My Modwatch in case I missed something obvious: https://modwat.ch/u/pinkslimeispeople/plugins
Note- I'm not sure why *ajd_moreorcs_sse_pc.esp is displaying at the tail end of my modwatch list (after the Mator Smash patch), on Vortex I disabled and uninstalled it, so that's a riddle to me, but I'm not finding the DMO orcs in either of the strongholds so pretty sure it's not active and was uninstalled properly.
In games where I did not mess with Orc skeleton, everything was fine - but something about this mod ontop of body morphs, know your enemy, uneveled, npc releveler, ordinator, etc, all work fine in combination with interesting npc and the like... but seem to cause ctd 100% of the time when interacting with the orcs from this mod.
It's kind of a shame, really, because before taking the leap into deep modding, this mod worked fine and was enjoyable. But it breaks down when fiddled with.
I've been missing a few orcs in my game due to some dragon accidents... so this would be nice! I'm curious though, are any of them able to become a steward? I was honestly hoping I could have Borgakh the Steel Heart be my steward, but she won't give the dialogue (plus wikis say she can't).
I personally love the idea that there is an Orc represented in every faction. I've read literally every book in Skyrim at least once (not including other games) and Orcs are surprisingly established in magic and other realms of practice in the world of Tamriel so I appreciate this little nod to that. Also... question. Having a right difficult time finding two of the orcs/ codes for the characters. They just aren't in Winterhold at all but all the others can be found. It would be great to receive a solution! Cheers!
It works exactly the same as it does with vanilla ncps. It helps if you talk to them a bit sometimes to get to know them, but it's usually not necessary. After the wedding they will ask where you want to live, like vanilla ncp's, and meet you at that home. From my experience they don't get lost on the way home and they tend to get there in less time than the vanilla ones do.
Excellent idea! I realize Orcs are a beast-race that is generally frowned upon (just like all others) but come on, their fighting prowess is a legend! They are the perfect warriors/guards/blacksmiths/etc and their numbers really didn't represent this, so thank you! Two things however (mere thoughts): 1) I dunno about putting Orcs everywhere... Mage Guild, Thieves' Guild and Dark Brotherhood specifically come to mind as they require certain attributes and qualities that aren't ecactly lore-friendly for Orcs (although that's pretty rqacist, an Orc practicing magic or sneaking from a young age would be just as professional as any other race, just thought perhaps just two for all three factions would have been better). 2) The Orc guards voices are still Default (specifically Nord), that's really immersion killing and is the opposite of this great mod's purpose... Again, just my thoughts, thank you for a great mod!
I just wanted to add I strongly agree with your points made. I can see how it happened though. You want to add one, but will it be male or female, can't decide so you add both. Now you got two additional orcs in the factions. If I had a way to do it I would remove the orcs from the College, Dark Brotherhood, Bards College, City Guards and Thieves Guild, and just keep the rest, or add more to the other areas. Also seems odd to have the two orcs in the stronghold that wear leather armor. I guess to add the ones I want I have to add them all, but I agree these listed seem the opposite of immersion IMO. Curious if I removed the others using the console if that would screw things up or if they would reappear.
Lambub gra-Yarzma and Ugadurash gra-Bugabul both came into the game for me with black-bodies.
I went into a room and loaded every single one of these orcs after seeing that - as all of the females have the same texture assigned, and only those 2 had the issue. So I opened 'creation editor' and opened each of them up, made a tiny tweak and closed, then re-opened and undid the tweak, and saved. - That fixed Lambub, but no Ugadurash. To fix her, I assigned her orc female skin map #3... (which I think is the same texture map, but with a different color tone overlaid)…
I've got 2gb os video ram, and after seeing this I did the tests on a new game sitting in a starting spot and using the console to just summon in all the orcs...

I mean do I just walk up to one wearing a amulet and they want to marry me?
Also once married to they fall into the standard role of running a shop at the home?
Thanks.
