An easy alternative if this mod isn't working for you to create an empty text file and name it ReanimateAshPile.pex and place it in your Scripts folder. Simple as that.

Edit: I was informed that a blank script might cause issues, but someone provided an edited script that seems to work. You can download it from the link in one of the comments below.

Hmm. It might have some unwanted consequences if this script is used by something other than necromancy spells, but it's also an option.

      It has bad consequences.
Instead of blank PEX file use this mod: Reusable Corpses for Necromancy - No Ash Piles (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/26414)

Good morning, I would like to know if the developer would be (or could) working to make this mod compatible with the mod Path of Sorcery

Last update was January 2017, so, chances seem slim

Hey, just so everyone knows, this mod is still at Form 43 so make sure you open it up in the Skyrim SE Creation Kit and simply save it to make it Form 44 before you end up using it.

As a long time modder, I really have to say that a comment like this just isn't helpful. How does it conflict? What issues is it causing? What were you doing at the time of the problem? What other mods have you got installed that might not be compatible with each other? If you want support, explain your problem in more detail. (PS I am not the mod author or publisher, just a friendly note as a hobbyist developer)

Is this compatible with Ordinator and Sacrosanct Vampires?

I honestly feel that this is how it should have always been.

Yes, NPC necromancers can keep sending the dead at you.

This just emphasizes the reason necromancers are loathed and need to be dogpiled or sacked *fast*...

ADDENDUM: (26 October 2020) Aside from the above, I feel there's another reason this is how it should have always been. The necromancers at Ustengrav comment on how their undead diggers are getting dumber every time they're revived. THEREFORE... (this has always, always been the case! For the love of Uncle Sheo, this seriously needs adding to the Unofficial patch!)

I really like to reanimate animals or creatures. I hope this mod works with Ordinator.

This mod possibly conflicts with the aurification skill perk from Ordinator because it causes gold ash to disappear after the enemy is transformed.
Edit: Everything is all good. Something weird must have happened when I tried it before.

Thanks a lot for this mod
Note that it doesn't work for all reanimation spells. Vampire spells still make zombies turn to ashes for example
If you could fix that it would be awesome

Hmm, do you have any vampire related mods installed? They can change the spells. Pretty sure it should work with the vanilla ones, but I'll check it.
