I really don't understand why people without knowledge of graphic design, they choosing to post textures mods.
"3000x3000" are not exists as dimensions.

Its not a graphics card limitation, but a Creation engine limitation. if you use any texture that is not power of two, meaning 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048, or 4096x4096 the game will crash. I am not aware of the game resizing textures to larger sizes. but I have experienced myself the game not liking textures that are off the standard. So I would loose a little quality and size this down to 2048x2048 so the game can use it right.

If it happens to be working for you, well that is great, but expect a bunch of people coming in and telling you it doesn't, so be prepared for that.

And I know what you mean, but what I've noticed is that crashing only occurs when the pixel size ends in an odd number, if it's even or zero it always works fine.

Is the title to say that the texture you're supplying is 3000px by 3000px? Because graphics cards generally only accept textures whose dimensions are powers of two, due to how mipmapping is implemented. This means a 3000x3000 image will be treated as though it were 4096x4096, resulting in wasted image space. While it perhaps isn't significant here, since lava is just a single texture only really seen at the Aetherium Forge, this is the reason mod authors always supply textures with weirdly-numbered dimensions like 2048x2048 (2K) or 512x1024 (512x1k).

I don't know, that's what the image is, I don't know how that will translate in game.

And I know I usually stick to those multiplied numbers. I just for some reason didn't consider changing it, the image looks fine though from everything I've seen.

Well it's really a 3000x3000 picture pasted onto a damage marker but same thing right? It's the best I could find and I think it still looks better than the original.

It looks better in game than in the pictures.
