I am a packrat, so this is a rather exciting find and compatible with my bashed patch, which I did not expect. Will be back for feedback at some point.
MiterB is looking for someone to take over Unique Loot. I think you should do it or do it on a temporary basis. The program is just about complete and the only you need to do is readjust the amount of stuff given out. You should contact him and work something out.

I placed yours at the bottom of the load order, but loot either takes these mods as 'master' or just vanilla. I can't find a single sack with more than 1 ingredient in it after installing your mod. Tried like 40 of em...
Maybe you can look into this, if you're up to it. I think quite some people use these mods, seeing as they're pretty popular and also sort of do what yours does, although not entirely. I like your idea though.
It won't work with those since Unique Loot already adds these things and alters sacks and barrels. I don't use that mod, but I can look into making a patch. But Using all 3 would probably give you overkill on loot haha. But thanks for letting me know Thyworm!
*Must be unique loot doing it. I have Rebalanced Leveled lists, but I also use a Bashed Patch from Wyrebash. Going to check out SSE edit with Unique Loot now.
Okay, making a patch. Looks like Unique loot has tons of red errors. They only use 1 item for most so you must have that overwriting my mod. No worries. Give me a few min and I'll have a patch ready. Just place it below the others.
(Patch is now up. Give it a few min to go through upload process and add it at the bottom of your load order. Should work in combination with Unique Loot now. )
Tested it on my end and it now all works, however, I won't be using unique loot since it conflicts with several mods I have. But I went in game and found a few items in the first barrel I saw, then got backstabed by a bandit. xD
Would you mind adding stuff to those EMPTY barrels...I mean the ones that have a different outside from the regular barrels that you find stuff in. They have a darker brown color to them, and in Vanilla, nothing happens if you try to search them. Very infuriating!
