Unfortunately miners have dirty faces. In fact, only their eyes have been replaced. Nothing else. I never could find a mod that cleans the face of dirt. I know that the body replacer should change the face. However, I don't need to change the body. I only need to clean the face.
Sorry for the late reply. The miners have dirty faces because they are working in mines. Almost all NPCs in Solstheim have been changed with this mod, aside from some of the miscellanous miners working at the barrow (I don't remember if I changed them)
To clean their faces, you need a photo editing software (paint.net is a free option) and to go to data > textures > actors > character > facegendata > facetint > dragonborn.esm. Inside this folder you will find all the face tint files for the characters. You will need to manually clean the dirt from their faces using the editing software.
I'm not working on this mod anymore, so nothing will change here.
I'm not going to post this as a bug as I'm 99.99% sure it's my fault but I'm having trouble with this one & the Riften one that a few NPCs are invisible.
One's I've noticed (or not!) so far are: Storn Crag-Strider Bolli Grelka
There may be others, Raven Rock seems very underpopulated!
Anyone any advice as to what I've done/how to find out/how to fix it?! I'm rather clueless.
I think the best thing to do would be to get nifskope and check their textures are pathing to the right place, or if there seems to be a missing texture, make a loose file directory pointing to the texture.
The good news is that I'm reworking (slowly) this mod in particular - the BBs series is pretty much retired and just exist because people want access to them.
For Grelka and Bolli, is it the BB's Rift or NITHI Riften?
I'll check Grelka and Bolli tomorrow, and be able to see if there's something going on either with missing assets or something else.
Nifskope is pretty straight forward and it's hard to break anything. When you open head mesh with it, there's a bunch of nodes in a bunch of trees with arrows going down. Click on each entry to open branches of the tree (kind of like in windows). There will be a bunch of entries labeled something like NITHIRIFT_head, eyes etc. If you double click those, there's something like BSShaderProperties (I think it's called this) and in this branch is where you find textures. When the textures are in the BSA everything will look pink. But if you unpack the assets into your data folder, then open these files again, you'll be able to direct nifskope to add the textures (settings > resources = change the folder to your data folder) and from there you can see if something is missing
Several NPCs had purple hairlines, at least Storn, Nikulas, and Gjalund had it. This can be fixed by obtaining the contents of the bsa of men from your Dawnguard NPC overhaul. It looks like this mod is missing the textures it needs. thank you.
@nightmarezone, can you double-check the facegen files for Slitter? I keep getting a CTD when he's around and Netscriptframework is throwing off the error message related to bad facegen (SkyrimSE.exe+12F5590), and my HDT-SMP log says Slitter was the last NPC to load before the crash.
It's possible. Do you have Outfit studio? Sometimes opening the NPC through that can fix the problem like if there is something missing or something that isn't meant to be there. Otherwise for now, you might be best to use xEdit to exclude him from the mod. I'm working on a big update for this but I can't say 100% when I will have it uploaded :)
Turns out wierdly enough that it's related to one of the new Armors of the Velothi mods, which shouldn't be throwing off facegen errors or causing CTDs with that code, but that's the culprit. Slitter and your other madeover NPCs all work fine, thanks for helping me diagnose.

Honestly I have zero idea how to use nifskope. Is it quite obvious to do that or can I break things by opening it?!
NITHI is what I'm using for The Rift/Ulfric/Dawnguard/The Reach/Companions/Thieves/Whiterun.
I'm looking forward to NITHI Solstheim, I downloaded this one because I love your work & wanted a uniform feel, even if it was the "old" mod!
