Regarding the mod Queen Miraak: This mod was initially made to be a patch of the mod "Queen Miraak" but since I wasn't feeling to wait for the author to respond, I decided to make it on my own.
Regarding the Miraak - Dragonborn Follower: Check AcenJay's post below.
Regarding releasing a preset or follower based on her: No plans at the time.
Not sure if I'll get a response, but I like the mod and I'd like to keep it in my load order if possible. My issue is when I make my bashed patch, I get this message:
mod_files.py 250 load: Error in LadyMiraak.espTraceback (most recent call last): File "bash\brec\record_structs.py", line 580, in loadData File "bash\brec\basic_elements.py", line 588, in load_mel File "bash\brec\mod_io.py", line 316, in unpackstruct.error: unpack requires a buffer of 12 bytesThe above exception was the direct cause of the following exception:Traceback (most recent call last): File "bash\mod_files.py", line 227, in load File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 71, in load_rec_group File "bash\brec\record_groups.py", line 229, in _load_rec_group File "bash\brec\record_structs.py", line 548, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_structs.py", line 381, in __init__ File "bash\brec\record_structs.py", line 594, in loadDatabash.exception.ModError: LadyMiraak.esp: error('unpack requires a buffer of 12 bytes')
Here's a fix for the yellow skin textures, tested on a fresh download of this mod:
1. Open up SSEEdit and load LadyMiraak.esp 2. Go to Non-Player Character list in LadyMiraak.esp and delete the QNAM - Texture lighting record for all Miraak NPCs 3. Add the QNAM record back in after you've deleted the record by right-clicking and selecting Add, the Red/Green/Blue values should all be 0 once you've added it back in 4. Change the RGB values to the following (to match the skin tone to the facetint color) - Red 172 - Green 159 - Blue 151 5. Repeat for each NPC under the Non-Player Character list in LadyMiraak.esp 6. Save the esp file and check each Miraak NPC in-game, they should all have the correct skin tones
The Miraaks in the ESP already had their QNAM's set to those numbers on my end, but Miraak's body was still yellow.
I instead tried to change Skin Tone under Tint Layers from 221 to the numbers you listed but that also didn't fix it.
When I first installed these mods and spawned in the companion variant of Miraak they didn't have the yellow skin tone issue so idk what the problem is here
OKAY. Actually following your instructions to a T fixed the issue completely. Not sure why the QNAM needed to be deleted then reentered with the exact same values that they were already at but that actually somehow fixed it. Thank you.
It would be awesome if this mod was added back to the standard edition of skyrim. It was set to hidden with the comment: "I do not support LE Skyrim" , which it's not. It's a shame it isn't available to the public anymore. :(
Does anyone know where the files are for miraak's hypnotism lines when you're making the towers? I want a sort of Fate like situation where she was pretending to be a man for propaganda purposes. not the biggest deal, but would be nice. Planning on replacing them and only them with files from a voice rework for male miraak.
Did anyone manage to fix the yellow body issue in 2021?
I remember easily fixing this issue thru SSEEdit in my last Skyrim modlist, but I am starting anew and nothing seems to work and I forgot to save the cleaned mod. I modified all the color values to 172,159,151 (skintone and lightning) for all the Miraaks but she is still yellow like a lemon. When I open this mod with SSEEdit I get a few warning messages saying "warning: unused data" for all the QNAM lightning values.. idk if that has anything to do with the issue. Btw, it only happens with 0401FB98 Miraak, the others are good.
There's a solution on here somewhere that involves manually editing the color values using SSEEdit (at least I think that's what its doing I just followed the directions.) Look for a post by machinem95.

really late but i think you need to replace the skin on .bsa with the fairskin, but "conflicts" that you mention i dont i really know
