    Troubleshooting:

    If you're having issues with the gold not being distributed, please ensure that you are using the relevant version of SPID, there are two downloads, one for Anniversary Edition (1.6 and above) and one for Special Edition (1.5.97 and below). Also please ensure you have the requirements for SPID as stated on the mod page.

    Hi, nice mod, it worked at first, but then suddenly it didn't work. I tried to reload the save game twice, but still the merchants didn't get the specified amount of money. How should I debug this?

    For those who think the amount of golds are still too few, open up SPIDWealth_DISTRI.ini in a notepad or something.

    Find these lines:
    Item = 0000000F~Skyrim.esm|TypeRichMerchant|NONE|NONE|NONE|5000|100
    Item = 0000000F~Skyrim.esm|TypeWellOffMerchant|NONE|NONE|NONE|1500|100

    You see that 5000 and 1500 values? That's the amount of golds those merchants got. So I change it into something like this:
    Item = 0000000F~Skyrim.esm|TypeRichMerchant|NONE|NONE|NONE|500000|100
    Item = 0000000F~Skyrim.esm|TypeWellOffMerchant|NONE|NONE|NONE|150000|100

      Thanks, but I've covered that already in the description. Bear in mind (like it says in the description) that giving merchants too much gold can break things in the game.

      Ack my bad, I missed that XD. But what do you mean by breaking things ingame?

      There's a vanilla bug where if a merchant's gold goes above 32,767 they will still take things from you but you won't gain gold. There are mods to fix this though such as Barter Limit Fix.

      Ah then I'll just slap that fix in along with your mod! Thanks, would have missed that if you didn't tell me XD

    Works, though it's a bit of a bummer that the gold never replenishes.  I got this to replace Rich Merchants, which doesn't add any gold to the Khajiit Caravans (and neither do any of the other merchant gold mods that I've found, except this one), but I rather enjoy being able to get rid of all my uber-expensive junk without having to put it into a storage chest, so I guess it's back to Rich Merchants.  :/

    Will the merchant’s gold replenish after trading with them?

      No, SPID is a one time only thing, it just gives them more gold when you open the game.

      I will... once I put my foot down and stop modding and start playing the game. Thanks for the mod!

      @horc00 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/49001 would solve that issue, but it's obviously not as compatible as this

      @Idrinth Thanks for the recommendation.

      I stuck with this mod anyway and I simply just consoled resetinventory on the merchant and they got rich again. Great success!

    Oh no, mr Belethor, sir, don't rip your chest apart!
    I know you have nothing but gold where your heart supposed to be, because you sold it long ago, but this isn't a reason to end it like this!

    On no, mr Belethor, sir!
    Do not rip your chest apart!
    I know, it is hard,
    For you've sold your heart,
    Yet it fixes anything but!
