Alright everybody, re-installing Skyrim and the Creation Kit. No promise as to a time-frame since work and life are much busier than almost 5 years ago when I made this, but since this was the more popular of my "for-my-game-only" mods and I just started a new Skyrim play through I'll take a look at making some updates :D. --- Update: Apologies for never getting to this, ended up getting a new job and moving and this fell off my radar. Just ran across it again randomly. At this point I figured it best to remove the plans/thoughts here since it's unlikely I'll be able to do them. Though I'm happy to give permission for anyone who would like to fork or expand on the idea of this mod.
Came here to request exactly that. Like other vamp cattle in the game, you should be able to decide whether or not you'd like to feed or drain them. It doesn't really make sense to essentialize them since it's already impossible to "overfeed" anyway. Looks like the mod is abandoned, so idk if this will ever be patched.
hey guys, i have had this mod forever and really love it. but somehow with a new playthrough after the latest update im unable to turn others into vampires. everything else work fine. i am surprised because it always worked before. would you have an advice for moi? Thanks!
Mod looks great and plays quite well. Just one question: If I enthrall a hostile NPC such as a regular bandit, it sometimes turns hostile on me when I use the summon spell. They don't "attack" me, but they are shown as a hostile, as indicated by a red dot on compass, and I am unable to fast travel or sleep because of this. I am assuming either I am not supposed to enthrall a hostile NPC, or this is an unintended bug.
Whenever you have the time to respond, your insight will be much appreciated.
Is this compatible with Vampire overhaul Sacrosanct? I'm using that mod for the first time over better vampires but it dosnt let you make Thralls like BVs does so im looking for a way to make them without breaking Sacrosanct. As i said i normally play Better Vampires which has so much more options but well Sacrosanct offers a few things i really like to try out this time round.
I'm going to try to use this with the abduction mod to make up for the fact that thralls are essential/have a limit so that I can drain the ones I abduct but have some permanent ones in living areas. If you increased the thrall limit and made a non-essential version that removes them for the thrall limit on death, this mod would be perfect by itself.
No idea what "Thread of Prophecy is". Definitely from a different mod. I hear that some vampire mods limit the number of times you can feed to prevent farming if that is helpful.
thread of prophecy is just the game's excuse for making npcs essential the mod description says "They are essential, so you cannot accidentally over-feed on them" in the list directly under the heading "Description"
