Hi Cow. I've been debating dropping the bigger Solitude mods for just a couple of smaller, simpler ones. I've had this one and a few others on the back burner, and today is the day I'm going to do it. I've cleaned your plugin and made it an esp flagged as esl. I also generated facegen so the groundskeeper doesn't have the black face bug.
This is the link to the archive it's all saved on, so whether you upload it to the page or just keep it here is up to you. I created some patches for myself, which others might find useful too, if you'd like to try the same setup. I think it looks really great.
Patches Include:
Spaghetti's Solitude Standalone + Fortified Ramp to Castle Dour
Spaghetti's Cities AIO + Fortified Ramp to Castle Dour
Drengin's Blue Palace Terrace
JK's The Winking Skeever
There's also a Northern Roads patch for Cow's other Solitude mod, Cow's Simple Solitude Docks. It may not be perfect, but it looks good to me.
This mod is perfect. I've been testing solitude all day for my VR playthrough and any overhauled I tried tanked my usual 90fps to 40-60fps. granted I have a lot of mods but still, anyway what im trying to say is this mod is beautiful and my fps stayed at 90. it's great performance and i combined this mod with Solitude Statues and Quaint gardens and its cheif's kiss. while still having all my frames ^^ thankyou
This looks lovely, just the right amount of trees and flowers, but noticed my landscape is messed up around the Solitude docks using Simple Solitude Docks and found this is the mod that is making those changes, the location I noticed -15,25 as well as this other one -13,24 and that is all it is doing outside of the city walls. Accidental landscape changes?
This mod shouldn't make changes to the landscape, or anything else, outside of the Solitude Worldspace. My docks mod on the other hand would make changes, but nothing that makes it look out of place. I'm sorry for the issues : / I really don't know much else about it without pictures...perhaps its a conflicting mod that changes the landscape around the docks? Sorry for the troubles, regardless and I'm glad you enjoy this mod <3
You know I've been on the fence of which Solitude Overhaul I should use for my next playthrough and I came across your mod. I like your take of Solitude!
I just wanted to say your mod is beautiful. I tried it with my other favorite mod 'Cake O'Clock' with alternat location and I haven't experienced any problems so far. I just load it after your mod.
That's awesome that there are no problems, if you find any in the future, I'll be sure to add it to the description! Also, thank you so much for taking the time to download my mod and I'm glad you enjoy it : ) I appreciate it!
I am not sure, like I said this was indented for vanilla Solitude, so it probably conflicts heavily with any Solitude mod. People are open to patch as they see fit, though!
EDIT: Most everything about JK's Solitude will conflict heavily with my mod, sorry for the long reply I just got around to testing.
Very nice mod. Not over done and looks natural. I especially like the palace arch and the planter island as you walk through the main gate. It does conflict a lot with legacy of the Dragonborn museum. Tons of floating plants. I'm going to try to clean that up, but thought you should know. All and all, very good work.
This is gorgeous! All the flowers and plants scattered throughout the city really help Solitude feel like a capital city. The benches and other clutter added make the city feel alive and vibrant.
I run a few Solitude mods, the main one being Redbag's Solitude, so I explored the city to check for conflicts. While there were a few instances of flowers clipping through porches, I could easily remove them using the disable console command. The major conflict was the Dibella statue across from the graveyard which clipped into a house. There were too many individual "parts" making up that area that might be difficult for me to disable using console commands.
The only other conflict I ran across was with Solitude Back Door which was blocked by a bench from your mod, though I could easily remove that using the disable console command.
I'm definitely tracking this mod! If there are patches made or if I run a load order which makes fewer changes to Solitude, I'll definitely use this beautiful mod. Thank you for creating it and sharing it with us.
Thank you for your kind words I really appreciate it!! I am working on more projects right now, so patches aren't my top priority, but if someone wants to, are more than welcome to do it. I will keep this in mind though, and thanks again for your comment! : )
I'm not knowledgeable enough to make patches, however I did load your mod on a different save file without any of my other Solitude mods active and was able to get the reference ID for all the "parts" making up the Dibella statue feature. Once I had the ref ID's, I went back to my other save file that has all my Solitude mods and used console commands to disable the individual parts. It worked great, so your lovely mod is now in my load order. :)
That's awesome! I'm sorry about the incompatibilities, but I have never made patches, and this was just for vanilla Solitude. However, I really appreciate you taking the time to tell me all the clipping issues with other mods, so maybe when I'm done with my immediate projects I will look into patches myself. Thanks again!!! <3
Hi there, I will for sure look into it soon! Late night modding and such lol
Update: I have tried to ESL-ify it with SSEEdit, and to no avail. I keep getting errors. I have no idea how to fix such things, and am working on other mods, so if anyone wants to make it ESL, they can. Sorry for the incompetence on my part.

And yes, as I said before people are free to do patches as they see fit. Thanks again, and I am glad you like the mod : )
