Does anyone know - How to Disable Auto Aim (Magnetism). I don't find anything about that. The magic projectiles, such as Frost & Fire spears or whatever flying where they want, but not where my crosshair point to. And the same story about arrows. (I'm sorry for my English)
Thank you for that. I hope it works on GOG version... I missed around 5 ~ 10 shots yesterday on moving targets because of this annoying auto aim. It enraged me, and now Im here, so thanks. lol
Nothing angers me more than thinking I'm good at something, then realising it wasn't me after all, but something holding my hand and doing it for me, like I'm a small 5 year old child. Why don't they make it optional so you can just switch it off instead of deceiving me?
I tested this and it appears to be true. For those who dont have creation kit; I removed "fAutoAimMaxDistance" by opening the .esp in Notepad++, and removed the part which included fAutoAimMaxDistance separated by commas.
This needs to be pinned at top! Does getting rid of that line affect the function of this mod?
EDIT: So, from my testing, getting rid of "fAutoAimMaxDistance" in SSEEdit/changing that value to vanilla (from 0 to 1800) restores the quick command function for followers. However, it does seem to mess with my arrows. The trajectory, and even velocity of my arrows seems to change when I restore this value to vanilla. I've even tried only setting the value to 200 instead of 1800, to see if that changes things. It still produces a noticeable effect on my arrows.
As it stands, it seems that this is not an ideal fix :(
The only time I want aim-assist on is when using a bow while on horseback. Aim-assist in that situation actually helps compensate for the fact that your arrows aren't necessarily going in the direction the crosshairs are pointing.
This breaks ranged killcam's (tested only with bow). After installing this ranged killcam's miss the target on its left side. Same shot to same spot without the killcam hits the target. Nice mod otherwise but gotta keep it disabled for now.
edit. Deleting fAutoAimMaxDegreesVATS line from .esp seems to have fixed this problem. Anyone know if deleting this line affect any other ways?
I will tray this solution too... deleting fAutoAimMaxDegreesVATS.. so will report back how it goes.
Update: Nope.. not good for me. Seems that this fix really make cam kills more accurate, but same time, it seems that frequencies of seeing cam kill dropped to vanilla chance. As I really like how cam kills work, I decided against it and uninstall this mode. This to say.. if you really like how bow shuts are unbound and free to fly (and do not seems to care for sometimes arrows passing through your target, as someone in here notice before) you should use this, but be aware, your cam kills would revert to vanilla chance of seeing them.

Thankyou for this.
Otherwise a must have mod!
blablanulnulblabla[NUL]fAutoAimMaxDistance[NUL]blablanulnulblabla
So I removed only the fAutoAimMaxDistance but kept the [NUL] I hope that doesn't render this mod unusable.
