I don't suppose there'd be any way to have just the lower tier armor and not the "Protected" variants? I get why they were added, for long term viability. However, I play with Signature Equipment installed which scales your weapons and armor across the game, so they'd effectively be doubles in my case.
Great looking armor. It would be even better if it had a Material Iron keyword attached to it. Some mods allow iron and leather armors to be fully tempered. As it is, it's not usable for very long and because of this it's not worth a slot in the mod list, since it's not ESL flagged. It's a shame. The armor could have worked for an entire playthrough as a rough-neck, bare-bones ranger, mercenary type of build.
This is really easy to do in SSEEdit. All you have to do is load up this mod's esp, and add "ArmorMaterialIron [KYWD:0006BBE3]" under keywords for each armor piece you want.
Thanks. You were right, it was very easy, but like an idiot I was clicking on the KWDA - Keywords (sorted) line, trying to find the "add" function, instead of the empty row next to it.
This is definitely one of my favorite armor mods, but the green pants and gloves throw it off for me, is there any chance you could do a retexture version with darker brown pants and gloves? If not, could I have permission to do it/find someone to do it?
If I can figure out if permissions are needed to do so from those who backported the mods to Le and Xbox then yes it's possible but I still am waiting for their response Anyways just a side note
I really like the armor, but I can't seem to improve it past fine quality. I have two ranks of steel smithing (I use Ordinator) and I can get steel and vanilla iron up to superior.
Thank you so much for this armour set. All of your armours are beautiful, but this is my favorite. My female dragonborn thanks you for good-looking armour that is also practical :)
