Just posting this here so I can leave an update if this works for Skyrim SE 1.6.1130. It probably will considering I don't think it relies on SKSE, but either way I'll be back to put my findings (same with other dlc modpocalypse as I'm using Nolvus's mod structure as the basis for my Mod structure)

      • The dead Dark Brotherhood assassin in the abandoned sanctuary should no longer have a grey face.
That's the only change from the .7 to .8 version I see. I hope it works...

The reason for the grey face is due to jonxr changing that NPC from a Female Argonian to a Male Nord...  Until this is updated by Modpocalypse, that NPC should be removed from the plugin entirely.

Before reading, please note that I play on LE with a personal port of this mod that I merged into my LE game. I would guess this information applies to SE as well, but I do NOT know that for sure. Just trying to help - see information under the spoiler.

      Spoiler:
      Show
The only thing I have noticed in my LE game while checking the new Wyrmstooth v1.20 ESP file in TES5Edit (I was on V1.19.8 ), is that the new version of Wyrmstooth removes Thelma's sleep package (WTThelmaSleepPackage23x8 ) - probably because the bed in her sleep package is (and was) owned by someone else - meaning she couldn't sleep in it. So Thelma's NPC record now has a vanilla sleep package instead in v1.20:
      DefaultSleepEditorLoc0x7
So the override NPC record for Thelma (EditorId: WTThelma) in this mod needs to also use DefaultSleepEditorLoc0x7 - or at least that's the change I made in my LE game.

Hope that makes sense to both you and ModpocalypseGaming!

ModpocalypseGaming: If you decide to look into this... you should obviously make sure that the Wyrmstooth change also applied to SE, so that a quick change is needed in your SE mod... and maybe that the Wyrmstooth change was intended by Jonx0r.

Edit: I noticed today that were also some other changes that I had missed, mostly some AI Data, and a few daggers. But also a new script on Gjalrunn. Sorry for missing those changes earlier. The point is, do your own review and fix things the best way necessary for SE. And... it appears the dead DB Assassin is now a male nord instead of a female Argonian?? (That was actually a v1.19.8 change I believe) Leaving her unchanged for now. I haven't been to that part yet.

The Dark Brotherhood Assassin in Wyrmstooth was changed from an Argonian to a Male Nord & will need to be removed from the plugin until Modpocalypse can update that NPC for the latest version of Wyrmstooth.

Is there a version that is safe to use with Wyrmstooth 1.19.6?

I haven't updated to 1.19.7 yet because I have at least 100 hours in my save and have managed to get 460 mods working without crashing. I haven't started the Wyrmstooth quest yet (only so far received the quest to meet the guy in the Bannered Mare, haven't even talked to him yet). Anyone know if it's safe for me to update to version 1.19.7 of Wyrmstooth (and then get the Modpocalypse mod for it)?

All of us highly appreciate the update on the record consistency for this mod and the main mod wyrmstooth. This visual replacer is amazing and really finishes the mod off to a high visual standard for the NPC involved with Jonx0r mod. Thanks for supporting this mod with the updates to go in tandem with his updates. This mod is endorsed.

Don't know if this is just me or not, I tried installing v3 and it gave me endless loading bug on startup.

Found it out after a couple hours of trial and error but I singled this mod out.

Might try out one of the others.

After going thru all of my Wyrmstooth patches 1 by 1, I found out that this mod was the culprit of the endless loading screen error for me too. With the latest version of Wyrmstooth and also using v3 of this mod.

Wyrmtooth had the same bug because of a Missive Wyrmtooth Patch, check all the patch for Wyrmtooth when you update it.

It's pretty unfortunate. I love his series of NPCs over literally anyone else's but he's never updated a single one of them. Out of all of his mods, he's only ever updated 3 of them at all and neither are NPC specific. Just his modding guide, his xEdit script and the Resources file. None of the mod specific NPC overhauls has ever been updated so I'm not holding my breath for this one.

I guess I'll just have to deal with High Poly NPCs - Wyrmstooth unfortunately :(

It's weird tho. I haven't updated any of my other Wyrmstooth patches including the Missives one and they all work, or at least don't cause the infinite loading screen bug.

The author of Wyrmstooth uploaded a new version that was incompatible with this mod.
I uploaded a new version of this mod for the new version of Wyrmstooth.

Thank Christ I found this post. I'd been slowing disabling things in my load order, trying to find out which mod was doing it. It was extra frustrating because I'd just been through the same thing the day before yesterday when I updated Wheels of Lull without realizing that all the patches I'd been using were now conflicting with the mod.

      Thanks for updating things, MPG.

    Hi, guys!

I found a temporary solution for people suffering from infinite loading problems.

First, I'll tell you that English is not my first language, so I rely on a translator.

    1. Open Sseedit and select the latest version of Wyrmstooth and esp file of this mode.

    2. If you expand the details of this mode and click any NPC in the NPC item, you will see that the item that conflicts with Wyrmstooth is displayed in yellow.
(If you want to see the collision item right away, you can right-click and check 'Hide no conflict')

    3. Among the yellow-painted items, you will see items located above "Head Parts (sorted)" (e.g., AIDT-AI Data, Packages (aligned), etc.).

The reason for the infinite loading problem is that these items do not match each other.

Therefore, you can drag Wyrmstooth's item as it is and overwrite it in this mode.

    That's it!

I haven't checked all the NPCs for myself to wyrmstooth, but I summoned Lorumend and Elmera from the testing hall and found that they matched the faces presented in this mode.

    Then enjoy it!
