Oi just got the message when I tried to download the first alternate of them:

How do I fix it so that I don't get that message? Or the: K:Jess\Mods\SkyrimSE\Studly Aicantar Alternate 1--Follower and Marriage SSE-5452-1-07.z ?
It was probably a Nexus error, as I can download it with no problem. Sometimes the Nexus glitches with downloads. Try downloading it again and see if it works. Let me know if you still have problems.
Had you already met him in-game before you installed the mod? Does he dislike you for some reason? Do you have any multiple follower mods? Anything that alters Aicantar in any way?
I had already met him yes and I don't believe he dislikes me and I do not have any follower mods or other mods (besides this one) that should alter him.
Is it because I had previously spoken to him prior to installing your mod?
It shouldn't matter that you already spoke with him. Have you done the Thieves Guild "Hard Answers" quest by chance? Can you post your load order (please use spoiler tags)?
Try opening the console, clicking on him, then type "disable," hit enter, then type "enable," and hit enter. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling him, make a clean save, then reinstall him. Something is causing him to bug, as he worked perfect in testing. We will figure it out.
The only other thing I can suggest is to try one of the other Aicantar options and see if it works. I just can't figure out what is causing him to bug. Let me know if he fixes himself. There is also the option of trying the add follower faction command via console, even though he is already in the follower faction.

It is down the bottom and as you can see I have no other follower mods and I have also not yet completed the Thieve's Guild quest you mentioned
Perhaps it is just the game save like you mentioned, though I have no desire to start over again just yet as I recently did just that
