This is really nice, wow, you can see the guards faces now! LOL :)

    I'm using SSE 1.6.353.0

Since you can now see their eyes and faces, I've noticed looking at other helmet mods too, this guard's left eye is a different color, or made to look blind.

    Has anyone else seen this?

Right click to open in a new tab to see the original size better.

The mod Open Face Guard Helmets in their second screen shot, also shows the guard the same. Anyone know how to give this guy a normal eye?

I noticed too, if you get real close to any guards you can see through their helmets. I also noticed this happens if you stand behind them, if you move the camera around, you can see through their body. Is this a Vanilla bug? Sure would be nice to get fixed, whatever it is.

Since the vanilla guard helmets cover their eyes, Bethesda only made three presets for all of the guards and Stormcloak soldiers. That's why most of them look blind in one eye.

We need to adopt the head canon that wounded soldiers ends up as guards if they have some use in them. This would also explain why so many of them ended up as guards after an arrow to the knee, thou there is some hints that could be a euphemism for marriage.

If anyone's wondering if it works post AE, it thankfully does.

does this affect Stormcloaks etc you might encounter on journeys? or just guards within cities and settlements?

I want to like this mod, but the metal piece sitting below their chins just looks so goofy to me.

You can change the description to "Makes the guards look like real guards instead of Jason from Friday the 13th.

Fantastic mod and something ive been looking for!!! Makes all the guard helmets including the Stormcloak ones *WAY MORE* norse/viking and anglo-saxon looking like i feel they should!!!

Is it possible that you can make a compatability patch with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/824/ as i want the openfaced helmets but the model of the guard helmets of this mod at the same time
