When you start up Wrye Bash, click the .ESP you want to add tags to and then right-click in the Bash Tags box in the lower-right corner and click Delev. That adds the bash tag to it and afterwards you have to rebuild bashed patch with Leveled Lists checked.
I was wondering why the mod stopped working after I created a bashed patch. That's why. Mod authors really should be told to use tags by Nexus when uploading their mods. A lot of mod authors don't even know anything about these patches.
If you use Vortex it won't allow you to put anything below the Bash Patch due to LOOT Cyclic Rules (at least that has been my experience); I could transfer over to MO2 but I want to finish this Playthrough first.
Does anybody know what actualy causes this? Because I had 370 mods with no problem. Now out of nowhere I cant run lighting mods. Disabling every mod besides ELFX and I still have crap shadows.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I know, It's an engine limitation where you can't have more than 4 light sources at a time casting a shadow on a mesh. Removing torches just reduces the light sources so it fixes it in a way.
I was just wondering why the hell does it partially work? as I saw just one guard still using torch. Probably because I installed it mid-playthrough... Well, as the description states, it is recommended to start a new game anyways.
Best thing out there. Lighting mods are amazing but they do indeed have their drawbacks. For those using a bashed patch, make sure you load this after it in order to ensure that its changes are made. Endorsed.
After I added this mod and disabled the exterior lighting plugin from Enhanced Lights and FX the issue of light flickering seems to be gone, or at least minimized, as I understand there is no fix since it's an engine limitation. This mod is really helpful, thanks.
Because I did not want to lose 43 levels and everything what I created in the game, I did not take it into account your recommendation "it works best on new games" and I installed the mod... Well, it was not the best decision.. the flickering are much-much more pronounced whit this mod installed than without him... The most serious problem is another one.. even after I uninstalled this mod flickering persist and are so strong and often that it is impossible to continue playng... I really do not realize what the hell is going on.. Before I had only sometimes flickering (only when someone was passed along with a torch beside a brazier, or a lantern), now I have flickering all the time to almost every brazier, even if nobady pass along with a torch.. It´s someone who has the same problem and found a solution?! Thanks
This mod isnt to fix flickering. The lighting system for vanilla has a light limit of four. I think way it works is only 4 can be in contact at once (Though issue seems to be bigger than that.) Its most obvious with guard torches because of weather/enb mod and fact guards run around everywhere lighting everything.)
Thank you so much for this! I was getting the piss-poor lighting on the ground, and spent hours trying to figure out what was going on.
Why the hell didn't they improve the lighting for the SE? I mean, you can have as many lights as you want in Fallout 4. I never noticed anything going wrong with lighting there.
Makes me wonder what monkeys they have working there. Same old Bethesda, eh? Hardly any "Special" about this version, to be honest. Everything STILL needs modding/fixing/patching. It's a joke. Somebody obviously thought they could just hide the shitty issues behind some fancy godrays, instead of actually fixing what was broken in the first place.

Fellow Wastelanders...
This way Bashed Patch won't readd the torches.
Thanks for the SSE version. Absolutely essential to use with ELFX!

See what I did there?
Whatever issue you are having its your own.
