You can use any armour with any body type. Armour mods include their own body.

What it means in practice is that when you equip this armour your base body shape will change to the Seraphim body - but only while you're wearing this armour. As soon as you take it off your body will revert to normal.

The only problem you might run into is whether your body textures are compatible or not. Many bodies use UNP uv-mapping as a base, and as such any UNP-based body will be compatible with textures mapped to the UNP uv-map. If you have CBBE-compatible body textures, for example, you'll find some stretching of the textures when using UNP-based armours, but if the armours cover up a lot of areas it can be unnoticeable. You might also get seams around the hands, feet and neck, but that will depend on the armour, and again some of them will be covered up depending on the armour design.

tl;dr - as a general rule you can use any armour with any body replacer but be prepared for some body texture discrepancies

The link to the converted base body should be in the download requirements.

This appears to be the only "Simply Clothes" mod on the Special Edition Nexus, could I download the original, Oldrim, version of the mod and install it to Special Edition? Or would it require me to convert it somehow?

I love this mod, just one question though. Why are we able to craft the shorts and pants separately, but not the tops? I would love to mix and match. I understand if this isn't possible for some reason. Just curious.
