Interesting choice of armor replacer. Not bad, if I might say so, though it might possibly confuse some players into thinking they are now guards instead of Thanes of Whiterun. I'm not saying that it's implausible that a Whiterun thane would have an armor similar in design to the common soldiery, it actually does seem a fairly logical idea, it'd just that you may wish to distinguish it a little from the standard Whiterun armor, say with a color change. Having said that, it does work fine as is, at least as far as I'm concerned.
Any chance you can patch the two guards celebrating by the talos statue after you defeat your first dragon? They don't wear the gar boots, gauntlets and helmet. That's been the only thing that's bothered me about running GAR and CWE.
The reason why we ask you the mod author is that if you include it in the main file or make a optional file, it's easy for us when you update, the file.
When you update the file for whatever reason, and we update to the newest version, we lose the ESL, so we have to do it again each time you update.
If you include a ESL file in file tab, when you upload a update, the mod authors normally update the ESL file as well.
I know some mod authors hate us asking, but the is mostly the common reason.
