I don't understand everyone getting upset about it not working for beast races in the comments here, you are A. complaining to someone who isn't the mod author and merely reuploaded this for SSE, and B. you can clearly see in the concept art in the description page that this set was designed from the ground up to not be for beast races.
Okay, but from a lore perspective, that makes no sense? After all, canonically Shadowscales were Argonians in Black Marsh raised from childhood to be the perfect assassins. Born under the sign of the Shadow they were brought to training grounds very early on to be trained to be some of the Dark Brotherhood's best. It not working for Khajiit, that's one thing. It not working for the race that the Shadowscales were comprised of? That's where it becomes strange. Veezara would be disappointed as the last Shadowscale.
This isn't the mod author, so nothing can be done, but some of the arguments can have reason, such as being lore inaccurate. And if you know any gaming community, if something is lore inaccurate, people will light their torches.
mate, that very last one makes little sense, as there is little on this set that would move, that would be a lot of work just to make a few small things move around
As for the female version, that's never going to happen as the original author AFAIK doesn't work on this anymore
So for my own personal use I created tempering recipes for the armor set, made it an outfit for Veezara in the Dark Brotherhood (he claims to be the last shadowscale in dialogue) and removed the chest so the only way to acquire the armor set is from him. I also removed the muffle enchant from the boots as well as added some new keywords and balanced the armor a little more, so it's slightly superior to scaled armor but lighter. I'm not sure who to contact if it's ok for me to upload seeing as there appears to have been a few people involved in this mod? Also would anyone even be interested?
Yes that would be a cool mod. I like the way you said the armor can be tempered, but like most people for the realism, would be nice if you could also be able to craft it. Say for instance Veezara from the Dark brother claims he knows how the Shadowscale armor can be crafted, but you need the crafting book, and you have to find the book somewhere.
