If you started Dragon Rising, chances are you will be stucked in that quest. That's because if the guard who is coming to report the Jarl is female, she just stands there silently, therefore the quest will not progress.
The reason for that is the male voice line that is used to report the Jarl about the dragon does not exist in Female Nord voice lines.
One workaround is to keep bumping the female guard until she speaks, like "Hey, watch it". This will continue the conversation. The other one is to install the mod Fuz Ro D-oh - Silent Voice.
yup, came to comment on that exact thing. I had Fuz Ro Doh installed so it worked fine. Not only that, two of the 5 guards that accompany Irileth to the Watchtower were also female and this could bug out if it weren't for Fuz Ro Doh.
another thing that can work is using the resetai cheat on the guard before they reach the jarl (this will reset them by the door as male which then allows the quest to continue as normal with the only effect being that the guard will be naked
Does this make only a couple of the guards and soldiers female or all because I'm looking for something that makes them all, at least for the imperial soldiers.
Been using your mod, and liking it pretty well... but it sometimes breaks the initial quest you get in Whiterun to go and fight the dragon at the watch tower. If the guard that's coming up to report to the jarl is female, she just stands there silently and the quest does not progress. I was able to fix it last time by reloading before I spoke with Farengar, but only because the randomly chosen guard was male. I am not sure how you could fix this in the mod.
