I couldn't get the compass markers to work, so I decided to not implement them.

Does this mod work for DLC locations added by DawnGaurd and DragonBorn?

I already have all map markers discovered with the TMM 1 command before installing this mod, so it's no working, I tried disabling all map markers with TMM 0 then reactivating it, it's still not working, any idea how to make it work?

I tried the pastel mod because the icons looked so nice, but now I can't see them. For some reason that mod blends into the map so well, they are almost impossible to see, even with a modified map & no clouds. Hopefully this changes that!

No ETA i'm updating my other mods first and maybe i will come back to this one.
Also i couldn't get the compass markers to work before because the file didn't want to convert.
But i will try to do it in the next 2 weeks. I''m kinda busy irl aswell so

      @Icrusher

"the file didn't want to convert."
You mean to convert from .gfx to .swf right?

Change the extension on the .gfx file to .swf.
      1. Open the file in a hex editor(or just Notepad++)
      2. If the first three bytes are CFX, change them to CWS. The C means compressed.
If the first three bytes are GFX, change them to FWS. The lack of C means these are uncompressed.
      3. Edit file name from .gfx to .swf

I know this from xeightballx's tutorial video. It might help you.
and sorry if you know this already, You can make this mod work without ESP. Just unpack BSA and compress it to zip file.(similar to texture mod but put it in Interface folder instead)

    I like this mod

I do have one request. The custom placed marker is colored by your mod to be purple, but it's still blue-green on the compass. It would be nice for the two of them to match colors, however you would like to do it.

I tried another marker mod before I tried yours. It must be changed from that. Thank you for replying.

Just drop the .bsa in your mod folder and it should work. there is nothing in the .esp file so.

All i ask of you is smaller icons, say half the size. Would that be possible?

Very cool mod! Love that you retained the transparency with markers just added some color to it to make it easily visible

Would it be possible adding an option to choose different colors for different map markers, such as major cities, smaller villages, caves, Imperial camps, Stormcloak camps, forts, dungeons, shrines, ports, hunter camps etc? Or just for the big cities

Don't think changing the colors ingame is a thing because it uses a texture that isn't in the game. Only thing i can do is make multiple presets.

Oh yes, sorry for being vague, that would be great if you could make another preset

Could you make a preset with the blue color you have to be used only with the big cities? (Riften, Dawnstar, Markarth, Morthal, Windhelm, Whiterun, Solitude, Falkreath and Winterhold)

And the dark green you have for the villages (Dragon Bridge, Helgen, Ivarstead, Karthwasten, Riverwood, Rorikstead, Shor's Stone)

If there's any problem making a preset with these exact colors only to the cities and villages, it'd still be super cool with any dark or light blue color for the big cities and same goes for the villages with any light or dark green color!

      Thanks for quick your response!

Hmmm, yes more instinctive colouring should be even better. (blue/red for stormcloaks/imperial, grey for forts etc.) Will track for now.
